    Everyone should carry an air pump in their car as an emergency device. It used to be a difficult task to keep your tires up to the correct pressure all the time and even the portable air pumps were a hassle and bulky. Well, not anymore! With this Airmoto smart air pump, you can air up 4 tires on a single charge and be on your way. Not only will you get better fuel economy, but you will also be safer on the road. Once done, simple plug it into a USB port and recharge it as you are driving or at home. I think everyone should keep one of these portable mini air compressors in the vehicle just like you should have a battery jump starter.

    Ok, I have the same but a similar model to this portable air compressor. I want to know how to check the PSI for an electric bike that has 20×4 tires.

    My Portable Car vaccum does it too. I had it three years. With digital LED screen and air pressure setting.

    How much air did the tire lose when you unscrewed the Airmoto hose from the tire valve ?

    • @flexman70
      @flexman70 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It usually loses 0.5 - 1 psi if you're quick.

    • @michaelchristianson3179
      @michaelchristianson3179 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always add a little more air then I wanted to account for the air loss when you unscrew the connector.

    I bought the Airomoto and made sure it was fully charged. I set it to 38.00, which is the required pressure for my MiniCooper. I connected the machine to my tires. It did not show what the current tire pressure was, but it showed the PSI as 0.0. I turned it on, but it remained at PSI 0.0. After two minutes of operation, I turned it off. I tried again, but it never seemed to register the current tire pressure, always showing it at 0.0. What did I do wrong?

    • @SimpleCarGuy
      @SimpleCarGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you sure the air hose is on correctly? I don't know why it would do that if the hose is connected correctly. try contacting their support, maybe you got a faulty unit. Sorry to hear you are having issues!

    After a full charge, how long will the unit STAY charged just sitting in the trunk before you have to charge it again? Thanks.

      They say to check every 6 months and recharge if needed. I’ve had mine since the video and used it a day ago to top off the tires due to weather.

    how efficient is it when you remove the connection from the the tire valve? Do you have to do it fast so air doesn't escape?

    • @SimpleCarGuy
      @SimpleCarGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      About the same as other ones I’ve used. It lost no pressure disconnecting as it ‘hissed’ for maybe a 1/4 of a second.

    Couple of things that makes me wonder about the minds of the people involved with selling this product (maybe separate from the engineers who developed it, not sure): 1/ geniuses say in the manual to not store it in a hot or cold place. So not in the car then? Really? The car won't ever be hot? In this day and age? So I will just keep it in a broom closet then at home - you know, the perfect place for it to be when I need to inflate my tires on the road. 2/ They list the psi level for popular balls and, while the geniuses are globally conscious enough to translate the manual into both German and Spanish, they listed volleyball and, get this, RUGBY, ahead of a soccer ball. Un freakin believable. Even in the USA, soccer is played FAR more by a million degrees by the youth and everyone beyond, than freakin Rugby! Not even the China made products' manuals are this bad. Wow!

    • @SimpleCarGuy
      @SimpleCarGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess they have to say not to keep it in hot or cold space because it has lithium batteries and those can not perform as well in the cold etc. I've not had any issues keeping it in the trunk. As far as the ball, yeahhhh that's kind of funny!

    I have this little airmoto pump. It comes on in Basketball or in Bike mode. It will not function in Auto mode at all. It does not work.

    I have a 2016 Ford Explorer. I inflated my tire from 28psi to 38psi. Once done I turned on my car and the Low Tire Pressure warning still remained on the dashboard display. It still showed the tire I inflated remained at 28psi. I reattached the Airmoto to double-check the pressure and it still indicated it's at 38psi. I went to a gas station, filled up the tire, Low Tire Pressure warning gone. Im extremely disappointed.

    • @SimpleCarGuy
      @SimpleCarGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The reason your light didn’t go away is because your car only measures the pressure while you are driving. For most cars it’s over 20 mph for a certain amount of time.

    • @flexman70
      @flexman70 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @SimpleCarGuy ummm, no bro. At the gas station I didn't need to drive for it to disappear. Ive never needed to "drive it off".
