This is what's written on JelloPH’s sign board as he performs along the streets of Uptown Parade, BGC. Although leaving his job was a risky decision, Jello stands firm on his choice to pursue his passion in music.
As The Street Plays: Buskers of Manila is the first installment of Stages Sessions Raw and Real this May 2019. It is a three-part short documentary series that highlights inspiring life stories of three featured buskers and their reasons behind pursuing their dreams and passion for music.

I've always envied other cities for their vibrant souls. Buskers are one of those who can enunciate the soul of a city. It democratize music and the arts. I hope every city in The Philippines would realize that.
This guy inspired me to do the same, quit my job and pursue what I wanted to do most. to be an artist, to create webtoons and artworks.
Thank you. It'll be a long and hard journey but sige lang enjoyin lang. :)

I quit my high paying job 5 months ago. My life before quitting looked good on paper and I had money and a career, but I felt like a prisoner and my soul was dead. I was living like that for 19 years. I can't live another year feeling miserable and depressed marking it my 20th year of being a prisoner, . Now happy with my decision and pursuing my creative passions and other exciting things life has to offer. I admire this guy so much and I can resonate with him. Congratulations on your decision!

yan din ang sinabi ko sa anak ko ng humingi ng payo sakin, he is 27 yrs old, almost freshly grad at wlang puhunan na malaking pera..company or bznes ang pinagpipilian nya..i saw his passion n ipursue ung bznes n itinaguyod nilang magkklase, alam kong humihiram sya ng lakas ng loob sa kin bilang ama.i told him kng anjan ang puso mo sundan mo..2019 he earned his 1st million..bought a ford ranger for himself and who knows what is yet to come..to all parents out there support your kids.. dont bark at them to condemn.. if they asked for support give it to them, hndi nmn pera palage ang kailangan nila para umasenso..plakasin lng ntin ang loob nila and they will find their own ways..ung simpleng kaya mo yan at tapik sa balikat , nakakapgbgay ng maraming lakas knowing that someone got their backs covered ..
He's soooo inspiring talaga! He's doing fb live every saturday, natatapos siya ng 15 viewers pero mannnnn iba yung puso niya sa music!

Saw this guy at kian's Eye contact Launch in DULO MNL. He's good, we should support people who are really into music.
This deserves a million views for all aspiring pinoy buskers.
main stream companies should stop getting just pretty faces to sing when there are so many talented and passionate talents out there that can offer so much more

I saw the real passion of music unlike other singers in philippines.
MUSIC IS MUSIC
Here in the Philippines a lot of people didn't or can not appreciate street performers and buskers. tingin kasi nila mga pulubing nan lilimos ng pera masyadong mababa tingin ng pilipino sa mga tunay na may passion sa musika.
Why ?
I went to visit Ashville North Carolina few yrs ago before pandemic & street musicians are all over place it is one of their traditional traits most are college students . In the Philippines they think of namamalimos & I am 100% agree with your comment
