Even if you are busy, always take care of your health and laughter. Thanks to your excellent sensibility, I think it will be a happy and pleasant day. Thank you and support. In the new year, many good things are waiting for you. Warm is the best when it's cold. Above all else, I think the warmth I feel in your video is the best. 12 Will misses the warmth. I hope it will be a month full of things that are warm and make you smile. When you think of December, the word end comes to mind. However, December is also a month to prepare for a new beginning. It seems to be a very happy thing to live together by sharing your TH-cam videos. Thank you very much for watching Ni's video, which was made with passion and great care. The greatest joy in this world is that every day is new. So if you have hard work, accept it as another new thing and cheer up. I'm very sad about the one remaining calendar, but it's fun to think that I'll be able to hang a pretty new calendar soon. It seems like something to think about.
I saw Billy Gibbons busking once. If you don't know who he is, he is the lead guitarist that pretty much started a genre of music with ZZTop. So some people love to busk just for the freedom of playing. There is also a video where Van Halen put on a free concert in a city once and loved it because they could just play what they wanted to play and not feel the pressure they felt as professionals, they even said "If you don't like the music you can have your money back... " while laughing. I just did some busking at a county fair last week, had a blast and no one knew if I made a mistake most of the time because I played a lot of original or obscure music but did have to be careful on the songs they knew.
I just started busking this week, it's a good way to make a bit of money while indulging my ADHD by improvising over backing tracks on the electric guitar
Amazing video Tito! Busking has changed my life in so many ways and allowed me to travel the world and collaborate with super talented musicians. I highly recommend all musicians trying it out :)
The last point is so true, the superhero one!! When I visited Galway for the first time, I was probably thirteen and from Catalonia, where we don't have many buskers, and I fell in love with the musicians there, and how in every corner there was someone singing and playing music. My english teacher asked a musician if he would let me play one song, so I sang "The moon song" from the movie "her". I'm guessing it was terrible, I was still learning english so the lyrics were wrong for sure, but for me it was such a special moment. I had never played live before. Almost ten years later I'm a busker, and I always let people sing something if they ask me, cause I don't know if I would still be here if it wasn't for that busker.
as a busker on Santa Monica promenade for 8 years I got to say this is an impressive presentation I'm only 4 minutes in and I had to say that this is perhaps the most natural and perfect presentation I have seen so far about busking on TH-cam. I don't care if you can sing or not your attitude will make money your presentation will make and even the best of singers can blow it... that's why there's not a lot of Old pros who busker. one of my favorite compliments was to be accused of lip-syncing Sinatra or Sam Cooke... I always said thank you and pointed at the tip jar. and usually the shocking look on their face didn't stop until they put a tip in the jar. but believe it or not I have found the best way to make good tips is to mess up during the song and mess with the audience. the times I found focusing too much on accurate took away from the one element of entertainment that should not be ignored. humility... and you did an awesome job presenting that without even knowing it! if you ever go to Santa Monica California to busk let me know kid cuz you got it going on and people who want to busk need to listen to you... hell you make me want to hit the street again if it wasn't for such and such I would but hopefully later. oh well I'm checking out a lot of these videos and I'll finish yours later to see if you messed anything up! after all you are the sensei and you start a dojo! there you will find yourself both Sensei and Sieto. I use those words because there was a rumor when I was busking that I was a Kung Fu master... I mean I'm singing Sinatra as a half black half Amish busker who knows kung fu. sorry yeah now I do stand up as well... it seems to me people worship the talent of singing too much. I've felt that way since a very young. what where am I I'm sorry for the rabbit trail! BUSK ON SIR! JUST DON'T SET UP TO CLOSE to me unless it's a sing along!
These videos are great. The insight is amazing. I have played all modalities from busking to shows. There’s almost always a person judging or heckling. It’s important we don’t let it get to us. They are but a drop in the bucket vs the joy we bring to people.
I started busking in the town near where I live. Later I drove to a tourist town in the summer and played fiddle tunes on my mandolin. Lots of folks had no idea what the instrument was and we all had lots of fun. I had enough money to buy a couple beers and get some gas money for returning home.
Thank you for sharing your passion and enthusiasm for busking. I found this video to be very inspiring. I am slowly building the confidence to busk in the streets of my town. I hope to accomplish my goal by the end of this year. Wishing you all the best.
Well to be honest nothing turned up the way i wanted it hurts a lot that am no longer strong enough to take steps with the same confidence but i hope to be a good musician for now I'll try to work on myself
When im busking everything set up i dont sing. Due to health. I let my fingers do the talking. I use baking Tracks. Guitar keys sax harp bass my favourite electronic drums 🥁🎸🎹🎷. Soon ill be playing. My own music 🎶🎼 thank you for sharing.
i never busked for money as my motive but have played in public and it is great. its easier to get in the moment and improvise if you play out in public...if you play only to record something its not so easy to improvise. you can of course in recording music but seems the laws of music and rythem and art is more stringent because you have a certain line to follow. Busking gives you alot more freedom than say recording music..i recommend it if your seeking to become a music talent or artist to play in public or busk..
You have such passion for music and this video is very helpful to musicians! I hope to go to Ireland after these lockdowns are over. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
Thanks for watching the video Katie! Really appreciate your kind comment! I like to share my passion with the world and I hope it can help! Cheers from Ireland 🍀
That's where a lot of practice at home works. Underprepared, you can come unstuck quickly, and be so embarrassed. It's better to get enough songs learnt, to last about 30 mins and move on to another spot further away, and do those songs again to a different audience. Find our which songs are working. If you are singing off a sheet, put a tick in the corner, or a cross, if the song worked for you, or when you go home, learn another song. Don't discard the 'not so sure' song, just use it in a different area next time. You will have people with different music tastes all over the district. I have found a lot of busking areas have a 30 min.. But as you said, get to know the other musicians and they will give you an idea where the other places. Even then, trying different areas, you can bomb out, or get very little change in the hat or guitar case. Once you get your music sorted out, finding the right spot, is still trial and error when starting out busking. Aslo, ask first to find out if busking is allowed, or you might be asked to move on. Even if you don't make a lot of money, (and some people enjoy what you are doing), but for whatever reason, don't or won't put money in...but if you are good, word will get around anyway, and they might come back with a few coins.
Nice video. I was in Galway through 2018-19, and did what you were doing so I know some of the people in your video. I know Brendan, and he is a gentlemen and a scholar, if you see him say 'hi from Andrew'. We got locked out of Ireland because of Covid... can't wait to get back. Keep up the busking
Felicidades desde México amigo. Gracias por tu video. Me sirvió. Yo también soy músico callejero y es un trabajo excelente lejos de jefes, empresas, horarios etc. . Saludos te felicito
Hey Tito. I would love to film my sets, but just wondering if you ever fear someone stealing your camera and how you go about mitigating that problem. I'm in London, so there might be a much larger chance here than in Galway. Thanks for your encouraging video and have a good busk!

I like your spirit, Tito. A must for every busker.
Being a busker is to play a song just one place or change the location or places?. Bro. Love from#Nagaland , India. ❤
Watching from Michigan!
Where has the underground aspect of busking gone
Thank you for this. Busker here from the Philippines 👋🎶
Stay safe & stay blessed! 🙌
I’m happy for you! But do you need permits to play on the streets? Or can you just play
How do you film yourself - where can I put a camera safely and get a good angle still
I usually put the camera on a tripod by my side on the left. If it’s windy, just hang something under the tripod 👍👍👍
Felicidades desde México amigo. Gracias por tu video. Me sirvió. Yo también soy músico callejero y es un trabajo excelente lejos de jefes, empresas, horarios etc.
