Frankly people downplay Bowser's strength. Mario and Luigi aren't giving Bowser any power he didn't already have they're just helping him bring it out.
They simply run into a shelter. Though Bowser behaves far more spectacular: earthquaking steps, god-awful roars... And the final launch of the enemy to the near space. With intentionally - and clearly - unstable orbital parameters, for a fuckshit castle-bot has lesser than nothing to do in space.

Replaying the Peach’s Castle exterior theme with the Dark Star music was an interesting touch! It’s especially funny, cause both music tracks sound very similar, just played differently. It makes me wonder how it would sound with the original Dark Star music from the original game.
i doubt a makeshift black hole made by our favorite mad scientist with broken english will act totaly the same as normal black hole, its probably made with dark energy and merely mimics a black hole besides that its not like bowser dosent have experiences with black holes

Bowser severely damaged the castle but when he goes back inside it looks like the castle didn't take any damage :/

If you flame peach's castle first you get a giant mushroom that will help heal Bowser's HP if you take damage
