I see a number of negative comments. What is wrong with the question? And what is wrong with the answer? This probably is a very frank interview. I have watched Ganapathi in a number of interviews and he is pretty decent and asks the right questions. If Appu did not help, he did not help, that's his prerogative, his priorities. Maybe helping anthashrama was more important to Appu. Nothing wrong with that. Just because Honnavalli says Appu did not help him does not make Appu a bad person nor Honnavalli a bad person. We should listen to everyone's views, not just blindly follow a star or a politician. That would make one fall into the labor mentality category! Grow out of it!
Have you watched his son's interview. Better watch it. You will understand what was Appu's intention
