Creature suggestion(this is probably gonna be a long one) The Beast Lizard These lizards are some of the largest lizards out there even larger than Caramels, Greens, and Reds. They were made by the Ancients just for the fun of it, their main purpose was just to act as entertainment as the Ancients watch them pretty much kill any creature they come across. These days, their population has been reduced to five. In game you can only encounter three, two being female and one being male. The male can be found in Farm Arrays, one of the females is in Garbage Wastes, and the other is in Outskirts. They look pretty beefy and muscular, their undersides are a light tan while the top side is a deep brown, sometimes they have patterns like stripes, spots, or splashes, the colors of the patterns range from any shade of green and blue. Their heads, back, and some of the tail are covered in thick armor. The way to kill them is by throwing an explosive spear or grenade in their mouths, it takes seven explosive spears and four grenades to kill them. Here’s an extra location :D The Nest The nest can be found near the female Beast Lizard located in Garbage Wastes, its a medium sized hole that acts as the entrance, when you fall down the hole it’s a cave with hundreds of eggs, waiting to hatch.
what if I (somehow) tame the male or female, and let it loose in the region of the other? (I decide to stop feeding it and stuff so it would go away or something)
Uhh uhm The Echidna It looks very similar to a red lizard, but with a shorter snout and slightly fatter body, and the "frills" are actually quills. The body can be any shade between black, blood red and dried bloodstain brown. The quills and head can be any colour between blood red and ivory Despite its appearance, it actually isn't a lizard at all, and simply adapted to look like one. It's an omnivorous creature, and while it can hunt the slugcat if needed, it usually just stays neutral until provoked. The quills on its back can be shot out like spears if there's a major threat to the echidna nearby, and the slugcat can pick them up and use them as regular spears. A echidna can be tamed in the same way as a regular lizard
I got an idea... *Alligator Lizard* These lizards are somewhat related to green lizards. They are long AND chunky, but have a deceptively low health pool. However, they have incredible reaction times, and a high bite lethality. They prefer to wait in spots where there's long stretches of water, say a few rooms in Drainage System and in Pipeyard's Sump Tunnel subregion, and can be found communally. They do not attempt to chase creatures outside the water unless they get a little cocky. They can't dive, but they can swim left and right really darn fast. PS: I like your character's design.
Idea: The arkavar’s (are kaa vaar) is a mechanical dog. (Like our kind of dogs) that partroll around iterator’s. They behave like regular dogs. Rolling around in mud. Eating food they find. (Which is anything) and have a higher chance to be seen near centipedes to charge. If they spot any animal they will have multiple reactions that can be different between each. (Think of scavenger id’s) they were made to give each iterator some comfort and and a sense of what it was like to be humans. One of 5 pebbles arkavar can be found on top of the iterator. Name: Janet. Appearance: Doberman. Status: energy depleted, in peak condition. If a centipede or shock spear is thrown at it the dog will wake up and look around before scaling down into pebbles chamber. If you go into pebbles chamber. He will thank you and Max out your karma and give you a karma flower before playing with the dog. (This can only be done in spear masters campaign). Now looks to the moons arkavar is still with her up until gourmands campaign. Name: will. Appearance: corgi. Status: broken. Where he will be found in a beaten state by a scavenger patrol group. He can be put on your back like a slug pup. But cannot be put in one of your hands. If given to pebbles. He will try to fix him. When you give pebbles power to moon in rivulets campaign And find moon in saints campaign. He will be fixed. Hope you enjoy❤❤
here's an idea Ferals Once domesticated pets of the Ancients, these are actually the closest living relative to Slugcats, however, they are much dumber, these Ferals come in two distinct forms, Mini and Savage Minis are slugcat sized or smaller, filling a niche quite similar to you, or lantern mice, they are faster than you however, and are quite the menace, quickly snatching food or using shelters, however, they cannot use tools, they have a reputation system, but its less sophisticated, low reputations make them flee from you, and more likely to steal food before you get it, high reputations leads them to leave some food for you at least, and even lead you to shelters when the cycle is ending Savage ferals are more akin to a cursed hybrid of scavenger and lizard, being able to do things better than you, having the ability to throw rubble to stun opponents, but not much else, they view slugcats (and pups) as food, and will also eat your food, Savages are hated by Scavengers, and their corpses can be traded for objects or higher reputations, Savage Ferals however, do not have reputation, and will ALWAYS be your foe Ferals come in a variety of colors, just like slugcats, Minis look like long-tailed versions of slugcats, and have long ears, Savages have longer faces, limbs, and a short, stubby tail
Creature idea: its a spider with very long legs that it uses to stabby stab creatures, it is very hard to hit as its not too big, agile and has big legs. It hunts (the numbers in the () are for how much they like them, higher number means higher chance to hunt them instead of other things: slugcats, pups and scavs (5), blue and cyan lizard (3), jetfish, yeeks and eggbugs (6), small centipedes (4), medium centipede (3.5), strawberry lizard (4.5), dropwig (3.25), squidcadas (4.75) and small spiders. They start fights with all spiders apart from mother spiders and will fight most lizards if they get close enough, they flee from most higher-ups in the food chain like Vultures red/green/caramel lizards, Leviathan, miros birds and vultures. lizards and miros will not eat these and rarely fight them. They are at peace with the rot for some reason but Arent infected, this could be because they dont make much sound and you can barely feel them.
Creature idea: brown lizard Iq:slugcat Hp:2.8 Damage:0.7 It's small Cute Speed:fast-normal Is a good-bad boy Eats small creatures like the slugpups and small centipedes
Um Name: scout Diet: herbivore Size: a bit bigger than a raindeer(their bodys are smaller than a raindeers body and their legs are really long) Passive but if it sees any creature killing another it will kill the murderer Body: looks like a mix of a raindeer and a scavenger
Cordyceps, a spore puff variant that affects adult centipedes. Found in the subterranean or sky islands depending on whether or not you wanna go with wingapedes or red centipedes. These spore puff mushrooms can be thrown at centipedes. Upon eruption it will stun the insect and it will then sprout mushrooms from its back. When infected it will gain a spore puff cloud ability like a hazer, and a dash attack, like a green lizard. If killed it will explode into a cloud of spores. If you escape it, it won’t follow you out of the room, choosing to instead reach the highest point possible in the room, and succumb to the fungus, spreading the spores of the next generation. Spores from the puff ball will instantly kill any small arthropod, all spiders will run in terror if you are holding one.
k so Name: Glowtail Diet: Omnivore Size: Long as a vulture and basically the size of one Social, But attacks when is attacked Body: A tortoise-like build with powerful tusks and glowing, armored lobster tail and a tall shell Very very distant relative of the scavenger Doggy ears🐶 Eats wormgrass Made by the ancients to consume any pests
You hace a nice taste in games... Anyways... ill drop a rw concept to see if i get lucky Expect a long comment Bolters: These would be flying, feathery predators that would mainly live on the underhang of iterators, they would be quite small being just about the size of a blue lizard, however due to the electricity alredy in the air of the underhang and the constant flapping of their wings they would store mass amounts of static electricity which would then be used as their main way of hunting. When spotting a prey (like for example, a white lizard) they will prepare for a moment before attempting to ram them, shocking and killing anything unfortunate enough to be on its path it would then drag the dead corpse away. Due to how their hunting works they would be less likely to attack smaller prey like lantern Mouses, slugcats or spiders due to the higher chance of missing, prefering to attack the lizards in the area. They would come in yellow to orang-ish colors and usually the arrival of one would be told by a small shadow and some extra effects of electricity. Despite being able to fit in pipes they prefer not to due to the chance of being ambushed as for as deady as they may be they are still small and fragile. Anyways thats the concept if you make it great! If not well great too! Hope to see your content this year

@AFancyApe Then the region would most likely be done for and some creatures that naturally appear in that region wouldn’t anymore
