They basically took the genius of 90's era Neurosis and made it their own. Seeing Amenra's tour this year was the same kind of power on the Through Silver in Blood tour from 96. Few bands will ever be this much of an experience live.

do it.!! it's the biggest impact a live show can possibly have on you...as long as you feel it what amenra projects onto their listeners. i have seen amenra a lot of times and i always need a few days afterwards to cope and reflect what happened to me during their shows. gonna see them on wednesday...and i'm stoked as fuck.:)
@@sloggothband it is indeed a spiritual experience, a fight with your inner demons and soul-cleansing. they always left me speechless, flooded with tears and deeply touched. yeah, it's a tremendous burden to play after amenra. i literally don't know any band that could hold up to them.
Will see them for the first time this tuesday! Very, very very stoked. This music hits me on a level like I never witnessed before. Straight to the core of my emotions. Yet so very powerful. Will probably shed some tears.

Seen a gig yesterday in Prague, it was really nice. Heavy, organic and full sound. Same set list, projection. After the second seeing which was disappointment to me, this one was really a blast. Same or even better than the first experience in La Fabrika some years ago.
Amenra nunca desepciona yo ví su live at en México hace dos años y creeme que todos los que fueron no topaban a esta grandiosa banda de Bélgica,eran muy pocos los que lo topaban muchos iban por mantar,The obsesed ,entre otros y aquí la pieza clave del cartel era nadamasy nada menos que AMENRA los que fueron saben que show, de principio a fin centias esa vibra chingona y centias como te IVA encapsulando poco a poco con sus riffs pesados en fin una experiencia única audiovisual

Yes, most spiritual concert I've seen. Twas Amenra, Voivod, and Yob. And Yob couldn't hold up to what Amenra did on stage.

I can't decide if A Solitary Reign or Diaken is my favorite. Either way, just an amazing performance!
