We need strategic thought leadership about our plans for our organizations, churches, museums, schools, etc. And honestly we over waaaay overdue for effective succession planning, as is evidenced by the resignation of Dr. Haynes from PUSH.

As someone who grew up with a dad ,learned a lot from him and saw him take interest in the neighborhood kids making sure they got to school in the morning and running a basketball league in the neighborhood , I can say I am blessed, it’s sad that we don’t have that anymore. We have to do better as a generation
