No it’s not. The NFL always rigs the Super Bowl for the teams that *THEY* want to go to it and the teams that *THEY* want to win it. Look at the Chiefs. Browns take was awful lmao. If the Watson they currently have means the browns are screwed, then they have their best point differentials and a winning record when he’s on the field, then they’re gonna do fine if he’s just decent. Even in their bad years recently, they’ve proven they can win in the AFC North. Also, the idea that they’re screwed cap-wise is just inaccurate. Jimmy Haslam is one of the richest people in the world. Things Andrew Berry can do with the cap because of this access to cash is remarkable.
This list makes 0 sense. How can you have the browns in your top 8 teams in the entire league but not even top 8 on a list of teams who havent won a sb
@jasonculver7340 it's by potential. What have the Browns proven according to that metric? Watson has been mid, at absolute best. Nowhere near the level his contract demands he be at. That is going to haunt them, because they gambled on a guy who didn't just go on the skids, but did so because of missed time and opportunity. We are seeing the result of all that off the field distraction. Joe Flacco saving the Browns was about as much of a condemnation for the Browns as it was commendable of Flacco. They are a poorly run organization.
Browns are a terrifying defense with a mid quarterback and questionable skill position talent on offense. As someone who lived through the Jay Cutler led Bears, you’re joking if you think they’re in top 8
Here is my ranking: 1. Lions- my early pick to win the super bowl 2. Texans- Super Bowl window starts now 3. Bengals- how does burrow recover from that acl (only concern) 4. Bills- a ton of roster turnover 5. Falcons- we need to see this team play 6. Cardinals- have pieces but are incomplete 7. Jaguars- this is their time to win it all 8. Browns- salary cap hell from Watson 9. Chargers- new head coach 10. Titans- need to see Levis play 11. Vikings- rookie QB 12. Panthers- we are so far away still slight improvement this year
I wouldn't dispute the order too much, but the thrust of the video should be more like, "Which teams who have never won the Super Bowl are most likely to do so in the next couple of years?"
@trey11317 who exactly are they sleeping on? Sam Darnold isn't a good qb. Danielle Hunter is gone with no proven replacement. If it wasn't for Cousins last year, any other qb behind that o line would've given up multiple sacks.

Completely agree! Tennessee is a better team and has a better defense. Carolina traded their only worthwhile defensive player and are the worst offensive team in the league by a wide margin!

Recency bias is insane, they have ONE fluke season and now they’re winning the Super Bowl all of a sudden? Could be a one hit wonder, they’re still unproven until we see them do it again. Couldn’t even beat Niners last year when the Bengals did. Let’s not forget Cincy made a Super Bowl and then the AFC Championship the very next year and that’s WITH a BOTTOM 5 oline. What do you thinks gonna happen now that Burrow FINALLY is actually gonna have decent pass protection for the first time in his pro career? Give him this oline he has now in that Super Bowl and AFC Championship the very next year after the SB and Bengals would easily already have a ring or two. Not to mention the addition of Burton who’s even better than Boyd is, AND Burrow having the BEST TE he’s ever had in Mike Gesicki, and you’re looking at the most dangerous offense in the entire league. Bengals were even poised to make another deep playoff run last year until Burrow got hurt, and they STILL managed to go 9-8 with a BACKUP playing one of the hardest schedules in the entire league. Cincy winning it all this year, mark my words
Idk if they will ever win. I'm a chiefs fan since 1990. I was beginning to feel like chiefs were never going to win. Until they did and won two more. Yes I know chiefs won SB 4, however I wasn't alive then to watch it. My chiefs won, so anything is possible. The Lions were on the cusp of appearing in their first SB ever. I won't be surprised if the Lions win one in a couple of years.
Let’s add another idea bro!!!! 5 quarterbacks who earned there huge contracts and 5 who don’t deserve the fortune. Ex. Deshaun Watson,Jared Goff,Justin Herbert.
The Bengals have been living off that 1 post season win against the Chiefs 3 x seasons ago... More recently, they lost to them, and aside from that, Burrow can't stay healthy. I'm not as confident in them as others.
Detroit Lions at #1 no question about it but let's be honest if they didn't loose to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Title Game we will be looking at a team in the Super Bowl for the 1st time ever period no matter how you feel of it the Lions will run it back and bring it all to the MotorCity believe that 10:48
For one, it’s L-O-S-E, not loose. And secondly, no. Bengals are clearly better than the Lions, they had a one hit wonder fluke season. They’re still unproven until they can do it again. Bengals are the only team that doesn’t have a QB named Tom Brady that can ACTUALLY BEAT KC in the playoffs. Keep in mind that Buffalo is now 0-3 in the postseason versus KC, Bengals are 1-1. Burrows combined record vs Bills and KC is 5-1, Cincy taking that Lombardi back home to the jungle this year baby
Sorry to bust your bubble, but the Bengals are unproven unless they can do it again as well. We will see if Burrows can go a whole season without getting hurt and you guys kind of fluked out on your run as well. Yes, losing Burns, Luvu, Chinn, YGM, and others hurts but the Panthers D is still sneaky good. Ejiro Evero is a fantastic DC; we still have Derrick Brown (arguably Carolina’s best player), we still have Shaq Thomson (a team leader) coming back from injury, and we also signed Clowney. We also included some defensive investments in our draft as well. If we still don’t do as well, we can always add somebody like Pearce Jr. (Tennessee) the next draft to bolster it. The more important focus should have been on the teams that have never been to a Super Bowl. I'm talking to you Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, and Jacksonville.
I think this video takes the wrong approach. They examine the team as it is now, rather than the organization. Teams can reverse their fortunes very quickly, ask the Chiefs. If your owner, GM, and coach are quality, you can become a contender in a couple years. It's also interesting to note that 8 of these teams have been to a superbowl, as recently as 2022. BTW, I'm a fan of the Lions rated division rival, but you have to love Dan Campbell's take no prisoners attitude.
texans should be at 2, they’re too young and talented. both sides of the ball are better than cincy and have a superstar qb that isn’t coming off multiple tough injuries like burrow. Cincy can obviously return to form, but who’s to say the chiefs are the ONLY team to beat?(ravens, texans, bills, fins … steelers? colts?) This cincy team isn’t built well enough to compete if burrow isn’t playing like an mvp, and even then- defense is definitely a concern for them! Texans superbowl window is just now opening, we’ve been in cincy’s window for years now- and they aren’t as good of a team as they were in previous years. move cincy to 4 or 5, and i wouldn’t batt an eye.
Cincinnati is sneaky good, they stood a good chance of going all the way last year if not for the Burrow injury. But I would definitely put Houston even with them - they're LOADED.
Better on both sides of the ball? You’re high af kid, Bengals have the best offense in the entire league bozo. Chase, Higgins, and Burton are the best WR trio in the league, Gesicki is THE BEST TE Burrows ever had, and Zach Moss is better than Mixon and they got him on a way cheaper deal cause Mixon was eating up a good chunk of cap space. If the Bengals can make a Super Bowl and an AFC Championship with a BOTTOM 5 OLINE, then what do you think they’re gonna do now that Burrow is FINALLY gonna have decent pass protection? Y’all called the Bengals SUPER BOWL run a fluke, so let’s keep that logic consistent here and make it make sense. Texans got blown out in the divisional round by the RAVENS who are notoriously playoff choke artists, they didn’t even make the conference game compared to the Bengals making a Super Bowl and then the conference game the very next year with one of the worst olines in the entire league. So as far as I’m concerned the Texans were a one hit wonder fluke last season until they can prove they can do it again. How you bout to sit there with a straight face and say this team isn’t as good as their Super Bowl run when it’s obviously so much better than their Super Bowl roster? Best oline Burrows ever had, best TE Burrows ever had, Higgins and Chase are even more experienced now and are better because of it along with Burrow. Hendrickson is still one of the best edge rushers in the league, Hilton is still one of the best slot corners in the league, Logan Wilson and Pratt are one of the best linebacker duos in the league. I honestly just lost all respect for this channel for being knowledgeable and actually knowing what you're talking about, because in this video you absolutely do not! Ranking the Browns at #9 on this list is beyond ridiculous! They should be #1 or 2! Last year the Browns won 11 games and made the playoffs starting 5, FIVE different quarterbacks throughout the season. Winning 11 games with 5 different starters is unheard of and unbelievably impressive! I do agree with you in that this is absolutely a do or die/prove it season for Watson, but what you failed to mention or realize is that in Watson's final game of the 2023 season, the game where he got injured and was forced to miss the rest of the season was week 10, AT Baltimore and had by far his best game as a Brown and one of the best games of his career. In that game, Watson looked like the Watson of old, he looked and played like prime Houston Watson. Against one of the best teams in the NFL, on the road against one of your biggest rivals and division foe, Watson was hurt (the injury that ended his season) in the SECOND Quarter and gutted out, played a PERFECT second half and led the Browns to a huge come from behind win over the Ravens in Baltimore. If THAT Watson is under center week 1 against Dallas, stays healthy for the entire season and is able to play at that level, the Browns are Super Bowl FAVORITES! In addition to Watson, the Browns lost the BEST running back in the league Nick Chubb, week TWO against Pittsburgh, and were forced to play the rest of the season without Chubb. He will be returning this year as well. The Browns have the number ONE defense in the NFL, led by the best defensive player in the NFL and reigning DPOY Myles Garrett, led by Defensive coordinator and reigning Assistant Coach of the Year Him Schwartz. The Browns also have at WORST a top five offensive line and at best, the BEST offensive line in the NFL returning. At Lt, 10th overall pick in 2020 Jedrick Wills, all pro LG Joel Bitonio, pro bowl caliber C Ethan Pocic, all pro and best RG in football Wyatt Teller, all pro RT Jack Conklin and the biggest steal of the 2023 draft, 6th man on the line who would be a starter on 31 NFL teams, Dwayne Jones. The Browns also have one of the best 1, 2 combos at WR in the NFL in Amari Cooper (coming off his best season as a pro) and adding former first round pick Jerry Jeudy in the offseason. Adding Jeudy to an offense with a returning Nick Chubb and the most underrated TE in the NFL, athletic freak David Njoku, who is also coming off his best season as a pro and in 2024 Njoku will establish himself as a top three TE in the NFL. Last but not least, the Browns are led by two times in his first 4 years and reigning Head Coach of the Year Kevin Stafanski and made an amazing addition to the Browns coaching staff in recently fired Titans HC Mike Vrabel. Sporting the number one defense in the NFL, arguably the best overall player and easily the best defensive player in the NFL Myles Garrett, arguably best Oline, best running back, greatly improved receiving room, top TE, top corner in Denzel Ward, best defensive coordinator in the NFL Jim Schwartz and reigning two time Head Coach of the Year Kevin Stafanski and GM of the Year Andrew Berry and an owner willing to spend whatever it takes to field a Super Bowl contender. Like I said, I get it and agree with "As Watson goes in 2024, so will the Browns." But if the Watson that shows up for the 2024 season is the same one who started in week 10 at the Ravens, which was his final start of the year (where his toughness and commitment to this team was on full display playing the last three quarters badly hurt with the injury that would force him to undergo season ending surgery immediately after the game, leading his team to a HUGE road win against a division rival and top team in the AFC/NFL, proving himself to his teammates and proved he wasn't just there to collect his massive paycheck, but to lead his team to a Super Bowl)...if THAT Watson is quarterbacking/leading the Browns all season, then the Browns will unquestionably be one of the favorites to WIN the Super Bowl in 2024!
The problem is, that is a big "If" - and that window is shutting quickly. It is simply a fact that Watson has had a lot more bad to mediocre games than great games as a Brown. If he continues to play mediocre - then you will have trouble this year. And AFTER this year, it's only going to get worse as Watson's cap hit skyrockets to $62 mil. Couple that with several of your key players in contract years and getting older, and you will most likely have a very different team next year. So basically, it is 'This year or nothing" - which is why they are ranked so low.
I don’t trust the Browns front office. Watson needs to show more consistency; otherwise, the Browns are screwed. They might have to cut some of their best players on defense (ex. Myles Garrett) if the salary cap becomes a big problem. Defense is fantastic but can’t win you everything alone.
@@fenix6297 I actually do agree with you that yes, it is this year or nothing. If the Browns go out and have a mediocre season and finish at 9-8 or even under .500 at 8-9 and miss the playoffs, or even if they finish at a mediocre 9-8 and squeak into the playoffs and go one and done then the Browns front office will have some serious decisions to make after the 2024 season and decide if they want to give Watson and the Vets on this team one more year/chance and run it back in 2025 with the core of the team still intact and try to improve and make a deep playoff run in 2025 by trying to patch/fill the weaknesses on the roster through the draft while also deciding IF after a disappointing mediocre 2024 they want to be big spenders in free agency (depending on their cap situation) and take one more shot at it in 2025 with this core of players, or... IF the Browns have a disappointing mediocre 2024 season and Watson fails to impress and fails to get back to anywhere near the quarterback he was in Houston, do they want to pull the plug on Watson, bite the bullet similar to what Denver did with Russell Wilson and just cut their losses, blow it up and go into rebuild mode heading into the 2025 season? So yes, we agree that it is definitely "Put up or Shutup/Do or Die" this year for the Browns. But where we disagree is where that places them on the "closest to ending their Super Bowl drought" list. Because this IS a Do or Die year for the Browns, and the core of the team/Vets know it, in my opinion that would make them MORE LIKELY to succeed. It will definitely have the Browns playing with more urgency this season and MORE motivation to succeed! Much like a player going into his contract year, that player is going to go into every game trying to ball out as hard as possible. They are going to put in the extra effort, extra hustle, never taking plays off, more willing to play through an injury and will be extra motivated to put up big numbers and more motivated to be a key contributor on a WINNING team and going out there with the mindset of if he puts up big numbers then the team is going to be more successful and win more games all in an effort to land that next big contract. And that is the attitude the entire Browns team/roster/coaching staff/front office/ownership is going into the 2024 season with. An entire franchise, top to bottom and from down on the field to up in the front office ALL know that 2024 is Do or Die. Be successful and at the least make a deep playoff run or more than likely they won't be here next year. It's all about urgency this year and having the attitude as a team that everyone involved with this franchise is going into a "contract year" and everyone on the roster will be playing "to land that next big contract." And BECAUSE of this mindset, everyone playing with extreme urgency and a "Put up or Shutup/Do or Die" mentality this season, the Browns should be ranked at the TOP of this list, and NOT held against them for some reason as you did here and put them at the bottom of the list, somehow coming to the conclusion that because it is a Do or Die year they will be less likely to succeed and have a successful year? I'm sorry I just don't agree or see it that way. Knowing that they have to have a successful season or Jimmy Haslem and Andrew Berry are going to blow it up and go into full rebuild mode if this team fails in 2024 is going to make every single player, coach and front office member go into every single day from day one of training camp with an incredible sense of urgency and a mindset of "we HAVE to win no matter what!" And because of that mindset, like I said before, is the reason (obviously in addition to having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL) why they should be ranked at the top of the list, not held against them for some odd reason and ranking them almost at the bottom.
The only reason I will give you the Lions having a slight edge over the Bengals is because they play in a slightly weaker division and they don't have to beat the Chiefs to get there.
If a football team doesn't have the current roster/coaches to realistically win a Super Bowl within the next three years, then you can't look at players as the reason why a team will or won't make it. Beyond that, you have to start looking at front office and ownership. Front office decisions are the ones that have impact for years to come, as these are the folks who tend to not get fired regardless of result.
I cannot lie, seeing the Lions at number 1 gave me goosebumps and brought a tear to my eye.

To put it simply, division.
@@OSG_Graced i get that but you cant have a team being top 8 in your overall rankings and not even have them top 8 on a list like this
@jasonculver7340 it's by potential.
Browns aren't that good dude
Browns are a terrifying defense with a mid quarterback and questionable skill position talent on offense. As someone who lived through the Jay Cutler led Bears, you’re joking if you think they’re in top 8

For one, it’s L-O-S-E, not loose. And secondly, no. Bengals are clearly better than the Lions, they had a one hit wonder fluke season. They’re still unproven until they can do it again.

Agreed
They snagged Geno Stone from the Ravens who was an absolute ball hawk last year, AND they got Vonn Bell back. Makes no sense how this team isn’t better than their Super Bowl team when they basically have all the same players but with more experience now and except for a few upgrades on the oline. It’s basically the same exact roster minus Boyd who Burton is gonna be better than, minus Mixon who Moss is better than, and minus Reader who I’ll admit is better than Sheldon Rankins but he’s still a solid replacement. We also lost Awuzie but he was always hurt anyways so it’s really like nothing even changed there. CTB was one of the best corners in the league last year, they’re moving Dax Hill back to CB which was his natural position in college. The oline is better now, our CBs are better now that we also dropped Eli Apples bum ahh. You can’t make this much of an uneducated take and think that people aren’t gonna call you out on it dude. I’m not being insecure or angry at all, just telling you that you’re deadass wrong
It wouldn't hurt to see Jacksonville win there 1st Super Bowl Title in the future soon 7:27
It's our year 😈
I honestly just lost all respect for this channel for being knowledgeable and actually knowing what you're talking about, because in this video you absolutely do not!
It's all about urgency this year and having the attitude as a team that everyone involved with this franchise is going into a "contract year" and everyone on the roster will be playing "to land that next big contract."
And BECAUSE of this mindset, everyone playing with extreme urgency and a "Put up or Shutup/Do or Die" mentality this season, the Browns should be ranked at the TOP of this list, and NOT held against them for some reason as you did here and put them at the bottom of the list, somehow coming to the conclusion that because it is a Do or Die year they will be less likely to succeed and have a successful year? I'm sorry I just don't agree or see it that way. Knowing that they have to have a successful season or Jimmy Haslem and Andrew Berry are going to blow it up and go into full rebuild mode if this team fails in 2024 is going to make every single player, coach and front office member go into every single day from day one of training camp with an incredible sense of urgency and a mindset of "we HAVE to win no matter what!"
And because of that mindset, like I said before, is the reason (obviously in addition to having one of the most talented rosters in the NFL) why they should be ranked at the top of the list, not held against them for some odd reason and ranking them almost at the bottom.
I praise God everyday that my Eagles are finally off this list
The only reason I will give you the Lions having a slight edge over the Bengals is because they play in a slightly weaker division and they don't have to beat the Chiefs to get there.
Falcons vs Pats...28-3....smh. I still feel bad for those fans.
The Vikings will be the last team to win one. They love tipping their fans’ hearts out.
Keeping sleeping on the Vikings 😂😂 yall gonna be woke tf up this season just watch
Browns were closer than most..
They own the Bengalis
With a granddad in Flacco
What if Watson was there..
Hope Chubb gets a ring
Ain’t no way the Chargers are winning it before us 💀
Mouse in your pocket? Or are you who dat?
If a football team doesn't have the current roster/coaches to realistically win a Super Bowl within the next three years, then you can't look at players as the reason why a team will or won't make it. Beyond that, you have to start looking at front office and ownership. Front office decisions are the ones that have impact for years to come, as these are the folks who tend to not get fired regardless of result.
