Drei Tausend Hmmm interesting. I haven't really heard about that specifically. Check your firewalls, and maybe ask the ESOC forum. There's a lot of tech guys there that could help!

Thanks for this. I haven't played since the first expansion and easy build orders like this help get the feel for the game back.
I think if you know you won't go over 20 pop before fortress age, then you can just build a market for upgrades with the first 100 wood. Also, you can just have 0 settlers on wood once your strelets become musketeers if you're all-in. Personally, I would try to make a mental list of the part leading up to the attack, like "At 160/180 pop: Gather 600 wood for 20 more strelets and the veteran musketeer upgrade. Then take all settlers off wood and have them harvest all cows/sheep and then go mine gold. Send musketeer conversion shipment and start moving forward with the army."

That is a great tactic to outnumber the opponent. However the british should have trained grenadier. Britain knew that you were training strelet in a large number but did not anticipate it well.

Only thing you could have done differently is to move 2/3 of your Strelets to the edge of you base so the scout would not see them and know how many you had. As it turned out it did not matter.
A great build that can be duplicated by ordinary players. My favorite Russian build!
How do you play online? Isnt the ES online service down?

I tried this strat against dutch and china, it works very well when I manage to attack them as they are aging, no time for cannons tho`. I feel like if your opponent had boomed better he could`ve held of better against this.

I don't get why the British play didn't turtle or try and annoy you with cav. That's what I would've done. I would build my longbows and then play defensively behind walls since longbows have very good range
I used to love Russia. Its just ever since my full cannon challenge where I one shot 50 british musks using factory cannons... I wasn't even good but I still love Russia
what would you have done if he rushed you at the beginning ? you had your first soldiers on almost 8mins and with a good rush he could've just wipe you..

If you want painfully fast games, you should play SC2 legacy of the void. It's actually quite refreshing to see RTS being what i should be. Slow and tactical.
