    Great video! It answers a ton of questions and it's nice to get answers from smart people and not 100% rely on google!

    Running is helping me lose weight. Not because it burns calories but because to run a faster 5K (Parkrun) I need to lose weight. I tried long runs, fartlek, hills and intervals with little success. I am overweight and calculated I could safely lose 10kg so I filled a plastic container with 10 litres of water to see how heavy 10 kg (22 pounds) is. Yep it's heavy. I realised if I could lose this amount of weight I will be able to run faster. Parkrun is brilliant because it is every Saturday, free, and gives me all the comparison stats I need.

    I would like to gain weight. Trailrunning definitely doesn't help😬
