Arttie, Stitching Cabin's Nordic Winter Band Sampler (100 x 272) on 14 count is about 7.143" x 19.429". Your calculations @3:00 on this video are not correct. Check your calculator...lol. 😊
I realized that when I was cutting my fabric. She has it in centimeters not inches. Lol 😆

Our son was born February 12th so we celebrate valentine's and birthday same by going to his favorite mexican restaurant. We call him our valentine's baby. Happy stitching Arttie.

My Valentine's Day plans with hubby are fixing a special dinner at home and bake his favorite pie. We do not do anything out on the day. This year we will just spend time together at home. My husband and I don’t do anything special for Valentines Day since our anniversary is February 12th. This Sunday is our 51st anniversary. I hope you have a great weekend! The log cabin blocks are pretty! I find myself drawn to primitive colors also…but then I see something bright and colorful and I change my mind! Lol! We’ll double date with my brother and his wife. ❤

Valentine's Day is my 34th Anniv. I will be going to the doctor's to have stitches taken out from a total knee replacement.
Hubby and I went to Texas Road House for late lunch on Sunday since he works nights. Be Mine pattern is cute.
The Be Mine Chart is very cute. We have been married 52 years and rarely go 'out' anymore, even for special occasions. We stopped exchanging cards many years ago and now just say "Happy Valentine's Day". Today is Valentine's Day so I also made a pan of fudge with walnuts and cranberries, yummy!!
Arttie, I started February for the Calendar Stitch A long but it's languishing while I finish up a MFE piece I started for Black Sampler Nov. Still working on getting my quilting corner together, and going through my scraps, but I see light at the end of the tunnel. Valentine's Day will probably be just another day in paradise, as I move from my quilting corner farther into the room and reading. Your Log Cabin is coming along Awesome, and all of your finishes for customers are great. Enjoy your weekend.

Loving the HOD monthly patterns your working on. They look really pretty on that grayish fabric. Your so good with colors. So we don’t do anything usually for Valentine’s Day. In 2000 my husband decided to get diagnosed with diabetes that day so there went any fun with desserts….. which is fine. Sometimes we will do a nice dinner but who knows. Enjoy your weekend

We don’t usually do much for Valentines Day, to expensive for flowers, and too crowded to go out to eat. We do exchange cards, and get each other chocolate truffles from a local candy maker.
Hi Artie, I usually do a little something for my hubby but I have not planned anything. He has a huge surprise for me this year. Taking me to dinner on the 16th (his night off) and has been picking up all kinds of little gifts. Not sure what to do for him this year. I am also doing the HOD year of celebration. I have done January, February and working on March. I have not FFO'd them yet. I will probably do little pillows. I did mine on the called for fabric and did not fill in my hearts with white on the February. I liked them without the white better.
All the finishing is beautiful and I love the basket ❤️. Your quilt will be beautiful. I love log cabin hope to learn how to do it. We do nothing special for Valentines Day.
My husband and I are a lot like how you’ve described yourself and your husband. We don’t really do anything special for Valentine’s Day. Maybe he’ll find a pretty card for me. If not, I won’t be hurt. I’ll probably make one for him since I’m a paper crafter. In any event, he and I are a good team all year long. Thank you for the video and great inspiration! Hi loved all of your finishes, WIP's and the quilt blocks. My Valentine plans are just me. My husband passed away 6 years ago and he always gave me a pretty card. So now I send out Valentine cards to my friends and grandkids. I send out around 15 cards. I love sending cards for all occasions. I liked the new designer with the band sampler. I also really like the Hands on Design Year of Celebrations. I am going to order that for myself. Plans for the weekend is stitching, family game night and of course super bowl Sunday. Beautiful work! For Valentines I got my husband a card, Dove chocolate he loves chocolate and an adorable teddy bear that looks a lot like his childhood teddy bear! We stay home hav3 a romantic dinner that he will prepare and then cuddle on the couch!
So fun to see what you are working on! I am going to host a Valentine party in my classroom and then go home and crash! I too have a Valentine's Day baby, so we rarely go out on the day, but we go somewhere in the next week or so. Love my hubby and cherish him more after his stroke this fall. We are lucky!
Beautiful finishing today. After 54 years we don't do a lot for Valentines day. I don't think we will go out to eat but will toast the day with a glass of wine.
I wish we could do something fun but it will be a normal work day for me,I work 11 hr shifts, so too late to go out lol. We dont get too worked about it either,we try to be nice to each other everyday like you and your hubby. Mine is great for little unexpected treats during the year so I dont feel deprived at all!
