I am kroot . Anyone think that the kroot are part old one ? Like a old one allowed the first or one of the first kroot consume it so the old ones biology wouldn't be completed forgot with it / them and this probably would shoot the kroot forward evolution wise.

I love the idea of the Kroot, I feel like there is some potential for cool lore if the rouge factions of the Kroot start eating Tau Etherials. Yeah that could be a fun home grown army to create.
I am dying for GW to add more Kroot options to the Tau empire!! Kroot that evolved by devouring hormagaunts & gene stealers could be incredible at combat, but Tau within 6" have to roll a D6 and on a 1 suffer D3 wounds because these Kroot have an appetite for anything not of the same race. It's so interesting to me that the Kroot also work with the Imperium, often being hired by humans as mercenaries. They even pre-date the creation of the Tau in canon(The Tau were added in 2001, the Kroot were first written about in 1998). One of the pretty damn rare exceptions to the "purge the Xenos" ethos. I also wonder what would happen if a kroot ate hundreds of bees. Would he shrink and become a bee kroot? Would he just grow wings, fur, facet eyes and an ass stinger?
Thomas K they eat them whenever they get the chance and will even stop mid battle and fight amongst themselves for the corpses. We don’t really know what happens to them because space marines are kind of touchy about watching their brothers get eaten and the tau themselves will try and keep space marines from them. Probably because they don’t want super kroot.
Well since space marines are genetically enhanced and have within them special implanted organs I would imagine those traits vary well could be passed to a kroot if they ate space marines, which assuming the impirium knows about kroot biology at all means they really don't want to find out what would happen, what I wonder is if the Tau have ever thought about this, and if so have tried to experiment.
If the Tau survive the next couple hundred years without being wiped out, they will probably become the dominant species in the galaxy over time, that is, if the 40k universe were real. Every other faction is stuck, stagnant in technology, culture, biology, and the ability to form long term alliances with other species, with maybe the exception of the Tyranids.
Question: How many orks does it take to make a belief come true like red makes you go faster is there a certain number or could it just be a big mob of them?

QUESTION 2 : Hi, any idea what will happened if a stray bolt shell flying though the battlefield would hit one of those awesome looking energy handling tubes of Necron Gauss weapons? Possible explanation would be: a) The tube cracks/explodes and all hell and suffering is unleashed from that gauss weapon; b) Necron were no fools, during the designing of their gauss weaponary they shielded the tube heavily and explosion of that stray bolt didn't do any harm. c) The weapon is mildly damaged, but overall is still funtional, yet overtime somewhat it looses efficiency with the particle ripping?
There are but they are extremely rare. They can become psykers by eating other psykers but pretty much 99% of the time they’ll turn to feral kroot or some of their more beastly forms so their shapers highly discourage it

So...if a Kroot warrior were to consume the gene-seed from a fallen space marine, he would become a super-kroot. Then, when he eventually fell in battle and his kindred consumed his body, the Kroot would have a growing subspecies of super-kroot warriors. Cool!

Kroot brains struggle with creativity and imagination, if they were to overfeed on marines they might risk becoming big dumb hulking beasts like the krootox with not enough kroot dna left to alter it. They would become genetic dead ends. The question is if the Tau can use the kroots evolutionary abilities to guide them into a more civilised people or even genetically enhance the tau themselves. Genetically enhanced legions of super warriors crusading the galaxy to expand? Hmm sounds familiar,what could possibly go wrong :)
As far as i know, Kroots have standart. They forbid certain flesh such as chaos and tyranid. And mutans are too. Space marines are mutant so it means kroot can't eat them

The Tau seem sort of posh and analytical but their alliances have their wholesome moments.... i dont know much about the Tau though. For some reason people dont like them? They seem to be helping other races though more than any other faction? Still..... ORKS FOR LIFE!
They are positive, creative, accepting and understanding, unlike any other faction in the game. Thats why people hate them lol because they say they don’t fit in the ‘grim dark future’. Personally i love the idea of a young and ambitious race who want to make the galaxy a better place for all. Even though they only have a tiny little empire for now, the other races are growing very concerned at how fast they are advancing. In a mere 6,000 years they went from a tribal stone age race to creating weapons that can melt terminator armour. Also people say they look anime but i like the japanese asthetic so that doesent bother me
