  • Howdy Doody, in this video I review the INNOREL RT80C tripod and the N44 Ball head for Landscape Photography. This review is not paid or sponsored as I have purchased these for my own use, I just thought I'd share my thoughts with you.

      Thank you very much 😊 🙏 It's still going strong after 18months of hard use 👍🏻

      Interesting to not as I’ve done more research on this tripod is that Artcise sells the same exact model including name. So I wonder who actually makes the Innorel/Artcise tripods? Looking now for best pricing.

    I have just got this, but teamed it up with my Manfrotto geared head. as you say, rock solid, especially with spikes. getting some slightly longer ones for it. It can't be beaten for its price, cheaper still on Bay.

      Nice one, hope you enjoy 👍🏻 I've put some thread lock on the spikes as they kept coming loose 😉👍🏻

    I have a different version of Innorel, the one with the clipping not screwing legs, so the number is different but same tripod, absolutely brilliant and worth twice the money!

    I have a different tripod but replaced the ball head with the Innorel N36 ball head. It's very solidly built and after over a year of use it's still working perfectly. Seem to be a good brand!

    Nice quick and concise review! Thanks!
    I also hate long goodbyes! Say it and be done with it!
    That quick leveling bowl looks to be just what I need for shooting video with my Nikon D7500. I tried using my Manfrotto ball head for photography, worked great except for panning, which was jerky at best. I now have a couple of video pan heads with the Arca-Swiss style quick release plates, works great, and I can mount my 72mm refractor telescope when the sun goes down.
    Now all I need is this tripod! Too bad a level wasn't integrated into this design, it looks to be quite sturdy.

      It's very sturdy especially for the price, I'm currently using it with the spikes in and its even better 👍, I have also stuck a small bubble to the levelling base just a cheap one from amazon that also works. Thanks for watching and giving your feedback it's most appreciated 🙏

    Great review! Have you noticed any creep at all with the N44 ball head? I have 4 pretty hefty Canon RF lenses, including the RF 100-500mm and I'm wondering if creep will "creep in" over time? Thanks!

    • @GingerCaptures
      @GingerCaptures  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, thank you 🙏 yes with a heavy lens it did creep a little..... however I still couldn't fault it for the size, price and quality 👌
      I have however moved onto a geared head for the first time although a little larger and heavier.... it has blown me away 🥰👍🏻

      @@GingerCaptures Although I can see why the geared head would be beneficial, I’m going to give the N44 a chance before I choose to go with a geared head. Thanks again! 👍🏻👍🏻

    Hi Ginger capture ! are you using spikes ? ,,,,I use 8 cm spikes and the difference in rigidity is unbelievable, i was totally blown away when i first tried them. Thanks ! Bob .

      Hi Bob, I didn't use them in this video but have since put them on and I agree there great 👍🏻 especially as they came with the tripod.

    I have an INNOREL RT90C tripod and it's very nice, too. which it's bigger and stronger than this one, only costs 357 dollars!
    Hold on a minite, it has a price reduction, only needs 337 dollars? You guys can have a try, won't be disappointed.

    Are the bits that aren't carbon fibre metal or plastic?

    • @GingerCaptures
      @GingerCaptures  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching.... they are a mixture of both, the handle and levelling base are hardened plastic 👍🏻 I have had this now nearly 18 months and still great 👍🏻

    Looks like there’s another spirit level on the end of the top knurled screw?

    • @GingerCaptures
      @GingerCaptures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is 👍🏻just does not help when levelling up the bowl, however I have sorted it with a small round bubble level, works a treat 👍 thank you for watching 🙏

    • @Globetrotter-1
      @Globetrotter-1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GingerCapturesThe bubble on the plate is meant to be read as you set up the tripod level first without camera on head, then click the camera into place. There should also be a built in level and grid on the back screen of your camera (there are on my Nikon and Panasonic bodies).
      I also prefer the Manfrotto 501 QR plates, so use a 557 adapter on top of the Arca Swiss plate.
      I have a big Vinten pro tripod, but too heavy for climbing the mountains, so also have the Innorel RT80C and an N52 ball head.

    Is thus the 32mm or 36mm max tube version? Also wonder why dint you go with the big brother RT90C?

    • @GingerCaptures
      @GingerCaptures  ปีที่แล้ว

      IHi there, i went for the 36mm and didn't go with the 90 as it was £100 more expensive at the time and it didn't warrant it, plus it Is heavier 👍

      @@GingerCapturesThe bigger version with 36mm dia legs is known as the NT364C. This is shown on the lower leg and not RT80C
