This feature film, directed by Alfredo Pourailly and produced with Francisco Hervé, was one of the Chilean projects that participated in the Doc-in-Progress Showcase Chile of the Marché Du Film at the Cannes Festival.
“For eight years I have been working on my debut film The Fabulous Gold Harvesting Machine. The story portrays one of the last gold seekers and the particular relationship he has with his son, who builds a machine to facilitate his father's work. The project has been financed by different international funds from Chile, Qatar, Canada and we have an international co-production with the Netherlands with Windmill Films and we have the sales agent Tarkovski Films representing the film”, says Pourailly.

“Desde hace ocho años estoy trabajando en mi ópera prima La fabulosa máquina de cosechar oro. La historia retrata a uno de los últimos buscadores de oro y la particular relación que tiene con su hijo, quien construye una máquina para facilitar el trabajo de su padre. El proyecto ha sido financiado por diferentes fondos internacionales de Chile, Qatar, Canadá y contamos con una coproducción internacional con Holanda con Windmill Films y tenemos al agente de venta Tarkovski Films representando a la película”, señala Pourailly.
