Awww this reminds me of when my dog went missing for 3 days and I tried and tried to find her and she came back to my house but her eye was pop out of her head and I took her to the vet and the vet told me that she had gotten into a dog fight and she had to get it removed. But no matter what I still love my dog!😘🐶

I see why you guys are angry the owner didn't take Pirate back, but I personally would NOT take the dog back, as long as I knew that it would be in good care. But you wouldn't adopt a child if you couldn't afford to take care of it, unless you're a dumbass. And no, dogs are not children. It would be different with an adoptive child. Dogs are great creatures and we all love them but it's impossible to bond with a dog like it is possible to bond with a human. Dogs and Humans are not equal, and although dogs should and must be treated with love and care, I would let them take the dog if I knew it was going to be treated well.

Wow. You need to speak to somesocial workers . I for one have no problem putting my cats first when it comes to family etc. My thieving sister embezzled all my elderly mum's money and properties and left me and my sister with no memorabilia of our family. The solicitors I employed said this is and is getting to be the case more often than not. Speaking from not just my experience . My.cats are more family any day.☺

You can get attached to any kind of animal if you just spent enough time with them and get to know them. Even fish have their own tempers or personalities 💕

Do you even know the back story to what happened?
The owner couldve had their pet ran away, and they searched for days, weeks or even months to find it and with no success, so they had to give up on him
You call someone horrible, Cruel, or no sympathy immediately without knowing the reason to why
I lost my pet 10years ago, it ran away, my parents tried to search for him for months, we gave up on him after that, does that make me cruel huh? Understand that you shouldnt be quick to judge someone just because they did something that looked horrible

Put yourself in a situation like this
You had a pet, but then it ran away or you lost it, you spent motnhs looking for it, but with no success so then you gave up on it and bought a replacement (i guess)
But then you got a phone call saying they found your pet, but you dont have enough money to take care of two pets. Would you still keep it? If yes, thats very kind of you, but words are easier said than done
My whole point is that dont judge people immediately, its like you would look at a black guy and immediately judge what kind of person he is

My dog went missing for over 7 months and my mum decided too get a new dog for us but we got a call from a vet from 2 states away saying they found Dodger (my dog) and we drove all the way to get him even tho we already got a new puppy Luna

I had 3 small Dogs, my CID Passed Away July 15, 2018. I still miss him. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my Fur Babies with me. They are such Loving Animals & all they want in return is Love. I spoil my dogs, they sleep with me & Love going upstairs to Love & spend time with my Mom, she gives them treats & sometimes gives them Cheetos, bread & tortillas.

Very true. Most people around the neighborhood i live at. They adopt a dog or cat. Don't know if they are well cared for.
I hear these dogs bark in the backyard. Rarely, i see their dogs being walked around to exercise.

We rescued a local street cat once that had some kind of injury to her head. We assumed she had been hit by a car or something similar. She always walked oddly with her head at a crazy angle. My friend named her "Sidewinder" because she walked in a funny unstable corkscrew kind of way. Anyway we took her to the vet right away, and he found a bad infection in her right ear. After she was cured, she still kept her name, even though she was back to normal!
She is now happy as a clam and the unofficial mayor of our little residential community!
Every time I get a ping that there is a new "Hope Hope For Paws" video, I immediately have to click to watch it! All animals deserve this kindness! You guys are such a blessing to all our four legged friends! Thank you from all your subscribers!

Yeah how could he just replace a creature that he's had so much alone time, and history with? He's definitely going to do it again. I lost one animal; my kitten pepper. And i tell you i cried that cat more than my own flesh and blood. It was five years ago when this happened and to this day i hear anything about an animal like her and i break down. It's so sad i would do anything to be with my pepper again.

My cousins have a dog with one eye. They named her nicki after nick fury!!! She is the sweetest pup ever, and is so brave. sometimes I forget she only has one eye! She doesn’t let her eye hold her back. That’s what I love about her.

My former boss took in a rescue from a shelter. He brought her to work often. Marnie took a bit of time to get used to him, and to us, but once she started trusting us, she came to us for snuggles. She later had to have one eye removed, because of cancer, but having one eye did not dampen her spirit. She's in doggie heaven now, but I will always remember that sweet, sweet girl. Rip, Marnie.

Animal services should put a camera on their property and in their house, they don’t deserve a new pet for what they did to this poor animal! It was better for Pirate that his selfish excuse for a human being owner didn't take him back. If he had, the pup wouldn't have gotten help for his injured eye and wouldn't have found a great, loving forever home. I feel bad for the new dog that the POS owner already got, because I have a feeling that as soon as something goes wrong with him, that owner isn't going to get him medical help, either.

I did listen to the video. Did you? The person who was listed on the microchip was the dog's owner who said he didn't want the dog back when Eldad called him. That is exactly what Eldad said. He got the dog the medical help for his eye that the dog needed, and the dog was adopted after that.

You know things like this breaks my heart every single time.I watch you guys with my dog all the time and i cry because idk how owners could throw there dog away like there garbage.But i watch this cause its always a happy ending.Even though i cry and my dog licks me and basically letting me know it will be alright.It's sad that i see people make there dogs fight other dogs or don't feed them or leave them in a chain with no food or water it's sickening it really is.But thankyou for loving people like yourselves that save other dogs and find them homes who need loving care.I actually saved my dog and her brother.I was walking down the street one day i see this young lady putting the two dogs near a pole wrapped them around with a wire a connected them with there leases with a bowl of water no food.I said excuse me what are u doing if you don't mind me asking she told me that her husband's father passed away and her husband end up bringing these two dogs without her permission and she told her husband that she was gonna give the dogs up but she did not want to bring it to the human society so she decided to put them near a pole so soneone can pick them up.I looked at her like she was crazy.Right away i told her how i felt and told her she is a poor escuse of a woman even a mother because her two kids were watching her do this and i told her I'm calling the animal control they took forever and by than the woman left so i took the two dogs unfortunately my landlord would not allow me to have two dogs so i kept my baby girl i named her scruffy because she has beautiful hair and when i first seen her she looked like she never had a bath and her brother actually lives 4 blockes away from me and i gave it to a great friend of mine so they are both well taken care of.Two beautiful dachshunds that are now finally healthy and my dog loves to play with toys now and loves to play with her brother every day or every other day So Thank God for great people and agencies to help these beautiful aminals and give them the love the attention they need.With help and giving them food and water.God bless you all.I Actually would love to donate so im gonna find out what i have to do to help.👍💗💌Keep up the amazing work.well done

Dogs are mans best friend, we should treat them equally. I have one suggestion for you guys. Please come to Bolivia, South America, or any countries near that area. There are lots of homeless dogs that need help. The people here only like when they’re puppies, and throw them away like trash when they grow up. Also, in the mountains too, there are homeless dogs that always stop there wanting people who drive by to throw them some food. It makes me sad because I have 2 dogs of my own, and I would hate to see them get harmed or be treated like garbage.

Ethan Tapia, somebody should train the dogs to catch rats and then release them if they can’t find them a home. That way at least they’ll be taking care of vermin.
They have diseases but I still love dogs I'd just wear gloves
