Amber Richard Agreed. CTE was the 2nd metalcore band I started listening to(1st was Beartooth if anybody is curious) and was my favorite member of CTE and one of my fav screamers in the genre. I'm curious as to where CTE will go from here, maybe Andy will take up more screaming?? But we'll have to see. And, I will definitely follow Dave to wherever he goes(hopefully he goes somewhere to continue making music). Maybe he'll go to OM&M, they just lost their screamer, but I don't think they're looking for anybody new, I believe Austin said they were stayingg as 4 :( A man can dream

I remember when I found CTE back in December of 2011. Their FB page has maybe 2.5k followers lol it's amazing how far they have come. I continue to hope for a more successful future for them, they've earned it.

Oh man this brings it back a few years. I'm 18 now, but this song makes me feel old as fuck. I listened to this about 3-4 years ago, around the time I hopped into a new friend group. The group was a big fan of music like this, and while I never understood or could understand the lyrics because my infant ears couldn't comprehend anything that wasnt clear English, I still liked the drums and instruments. The friend group was full of depressed individuals who hated a bunch of shit with weird ideals, and I ditched them a few months later, at least 6 months later. This song and "My Heroine" by Silverstein were thrown out the front door with them, and I've had those 2 songs faintly ringing in my ears ever since. Reminiscing is a big part of growing up; both the good and bad can be reminisced, and while I mainly focus on the good, I dabble in the bad every once in a while to remind myself what I should steer clear from. For those of you who are in bad situations, get out of them before it's too late or they get worse. Think about your life after you get out, and compare it to how it was. Itll remind you that the life you were living wasnt healthy.

It's hard for me to get into different bands but this band is pretty good I think I'll check out more of their songs. Daniel Gonzalez Wouldn't have ever called myself a scene kid, but still love this band. I discovered them browsing you tube and i liked the theatrics in there videos and sound. The sound is creative and that's what attracts me, as long as heart is put into it, ill listen to just about any music. I don't even think cliches like scene, prep, emo, goth, jock, ect really mean anything. People should be themselves and try not to latch onto a label.

I'm sick of hearing "im an emo kid" or "scene kid" all the time..it's childish and nothing more than a way of restricting yourself with a label. sure, some people tell me i look emo....and i honestly don't understand why, i just wear a shirt an jeans, usually solid color stuff, and listen to a wide variety of music. maybe its the hair, its kinda shaggy. That's what society has become, a labeling system, and even people who label themselves unconformists, are still grouped and conformed to society. So just like what you like, listen to what you want, wear what you want, and don't label yourself if you wanna be your own person. Just don't listen to what people call you.

Stupid question, but can somebody tell me how Andy keeps his mask on properly? I can see a bit of string on his mask going round his head but it doesn't connect to anywhere else. nostalgia story time. so going back 10 years ago. i woke up to this song on amtv, i didnt even hear all of it. i only heard the will you let darkness fall line and everything after. i remember purposefully waking up ass early in the morning to hopefully get the chance to hear this. (i did not have internet or any other means other than a radio and tv. this song didnt get radio play where i live). so i will always come back to this to remember how dedicated i was. i did this many times back then, with many other songs, but this will will always stick out. love this song still.

I just seen CTE live at Warped Tour in Cincy. they gave the best performance I have seen of the day! They came out bursting with so much energy and got the crowd hyped up. Great performers and sound exactly the same live. Would love yo see them again.
