Love it. The words are so great and the melody gives you goosebumps.

This is so beautiful! It also reminds me of the Byzantine liturgy a bit - at least what I've heard from it. Really gorgeous!!! If only all Novus Ordo Masses had music like this, and reverence to match!

Amen. Let us continue to pray for Mother Church everyday! God will surely raise up His church.

On the second Agnus, the basses repeat the melody of the first Agnus, going up to E from D. Just wondering. Saw CFN broadcast of the film about you and your work last night. That's why I'm here. Your music is just brilliant material, and profoundly historically grounded. My experience in Europe was quite different and the congregations were musically educated in some sense that we in the US do not understand. In 1971, as a 19-year old, I ran a folk mass group of girls. Besides tuning the guitars, I did some simple 2vv and 3vv arrangements of the typical "folk" stuff that was around during those days. But for Xmas, I had them do the Introit for the Mass at Midnight: th-cam.com/video/eMy188bQ7K4/w-d-xo.html, as a meditation after Communion. Actually had absolute reverent silence and was approached by one 70-ish woman at the end to tell me it was the most beautiful thing she'd ever heard. There was always room in the Roman liturgy for serious, joyous and historically based music in the Novus Ordo. The poorly trained officiants and pastors allowed the public and OCP to run rampant. Now, I fear that except for your circle and several pockets of Pius X traditionalists, the musical toothpaste has all been squeezed out of the Catholic liturgical tube. As the Poles say, "Sto lat!" (May you live 100 years!)
