The “vs” seems to be a competition. She’s not fighting him, she trying to kill or capture the intruders in the forest who upset the guardian. I think Shen would prefer capture, while Akali is just going for the kill.
the main conflict between akali and shen is that she defected from the kinkou order due to her disagreements with shen's philosophy. she is against the invasion of noxus whereas shen is an arbiter of balance between the human and spirit worlds. he doesn't consider himself to be allied with ionia, but is instead responsible for maintaining balance between all humans and spirits, regardless of their origin. akali, on the other hand, defected from the kinkou in order to fight the noxian invasion directly. zed was also a member of the kinkou order, but killed his master (shen's father) and created his own shadow order.
Not against you see Shen in the vid tried to save the from Akali he isn't trying to touch his fav student she's that amazing in the eyes of Shen and my eyes
