I remember being 7 seven years old when I first watched the movie and therefore first listened to this song. I fell in love with it immediately.Now I'm 20, still watching the movie, still listening to this song. So great to know that not all of your childhood memories get lost in time.
I only stumbled across this movie in TH-cam a few months ago. I also watched an interview of the lady involved and it motivated me to buy her book Yesterday's Children. It's a beautiful story and the book is well worth reading. The song is beautiful.
