I love Concerning Hobbits, but variety is nice, and some of these songs do seem richer, and more "fall" vs the "spring" of the traditional theme. Adding some less-common tunes from the Shire is welcome:D

I have read through The Hobbit & LOTR series. I'm 60% through The Silmarillion... However I can not seem to find a proper order to read all through the Arda/Middle Earth books. Every time I find a list it's either the order they were written in or the order they were published not a chronological journey through the timeline of Arda. Do you know?

@@328am The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King. Also the Appendixes at the end of the Return of the King make for a good summary of Tolkien' Middle Earth.

I live in a place that in the summer time looks just like the shire and when I look out and see the sun shining across the trees and fields this is the perfect music to put on it truly warms my heart have a good day or night :)
Howard Leslie Shore is one of the greatest movie composers on Earth. LOTR and Hobbit soundtracks are the best.

I am reading through the LOTR for the first time. When I imagine the perfect place to sit and read the LOTR, this is it!

Honestly, these mixes have sold my wife on giving Lord of the Rings a chance. She always thought they were too nerdy for her, but playing some of this music around the house had her asking where it came from. This weekend, she finally watched the first in the LotR trilogy with me and is excited for the next one. Thank you!

It looks like completely the same at Green Dragon in the original Hobbiten New Zealand. I was there and I go for the dinner. It was one of my best meals in NZ. The Best memories. Amazing

PERFECT study and homework music. All the shire-sounding ones are. Pleasant and cheery, yet not distracting. A hint of escapism lifts the drudgery of school work with a touch of fantasy!

The students love them. The music helps to keep everyone focused on their work. It also helps me stay calm during stressful situations trying to deal with the online virtual learners.

This might be one of your best mixes. The quiet simplicity and feeling of home and loving friends. This reminds me of christmas as a child at my grandparents dairy farm. A huge table filled with family, a fire, food and mugs of beer, (milk for the kids).

My wife and I feasted at the Green Dragon Inn in Matamata NZ for our honeymoon. I couldn't recommend that more! Listening to this while working makes me yearn to go back and feast once more :)
