Dryer and Vent Installation. Part 2

After we modified the area to accommodate the dryer, we installed the vent. This is what was required to install the vent through the outside of the camper and to connect to the dryer inside.

I'm getting ready to install this exact dryer vent cover and I have 1 question. If you silicone sealed the chrome plastic outer cover to the side of the RV, how do you clean out the hose. My understanding(and no instructions came with mine), is you're😢 supposed to remove those 2 screws at the bottom of the chrome cover, it then slips up and off so you can easily lift up the vent flap and clean out the dryer hose. The butyl tape was a good idea. Any problems.

Was this a 220? And what kind of dryer was installed?

It's a 120 volt Splendide combo washer/dryer with vented dryer. Not the condensing version. We have the same model only older. Nice unit.
