The reasons I see why some people are opposed to Spubs are mainly due to sheer ignorance, denial of the truth due to egoism or pride and no link up whatsoever with the salaf scholars.

Salam Aliakum , I have a question, How can you oppose Abd al Rahman Hassan for doing a mistake, and not opposing SPUBS when they also made a mistake (belittling shaykh al ruhayli)??? I actually like both SPUBS and AMAU. and anyone who is on the path of Ahl al Sunnah who refutes falsehood ,,, But seeing this division is sad.

A lot of ppl sadly in our times have been affected by the ideology of MB not only in terms of politics, but in the affairs of Dawah and rectification and have unclear methodology, leniency in companionship and association etc has been normalised among ppl who ascribe to Salafiyyah, which is why many find it difficult to accept the Dawah of Spubs, because it goes against what they have been cultivated upon as Salafiyyah.

Brother according to the Usul of the Spups you are Ikhwani because they think Sheikh Ihsan Ilahi Zaheer is an Ikhwani (ie. Mubtadi) even though the major scholars like Shaykh Ibn Baaz RahimahUllah have Clearly given tazkiyah of him. You called him a Salafi in the comments and rejected the Tabdi of Spups therefore you sided with the so-called Ikhwani against the so-called only Salafi Brothers. Your off as well then aren't you?

1: Spubs don't make tabdee' of Shaykh Ihsan Ilahi Zaheer.
2: Even if they make tabdee' on him, we don't blind follow anyone. In order to say Shaykh Ihsan Ilahi Zaheer is mubtadi', the proof need to be brought that he is an innovator.
3: People accuse SPUBS of blind following Shaykh Rabee' & Shaykh 'Ubayd. However, Shaykh 'Ubayd makes tabee' on Shaykh Ihsan Ilahi Zaheer. As for Shaykh Rabee', I don't know what he says about him. This is a proof SPUBS don't follow Shaykh Rabee' or Shaykh 'Ubayd, rather they follow proves and evidences.
May Allah preserve them all and have mercy on mashaa'ikh of ahl-us-sunnah

Abdur Rahman Hasan debated a khaarijee Abu Bara a public debate (this is one opposition to the salafi manhaj) and in that debate he praised that khaarijee (that's second opposition to the salafi manhaj). Then some of the students of knowledge refuted him for those 2 oppositions. One student of knowledge in his refutation said Ibn Abbaas didn't praised khawaarij. After that ARH ('Abdur Rahman Hasan) attacked those students of knowledge. ARH said that wallahi Ibn Abbaas praised khawaarij and prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also praised khawaarij. So now what ARH did was
1: ARH lied on prophet Muhammad and Ibn 'Abbaas.
2: He lied on Prophet Muhammad and Ibn 'Abbaas to defend his falsehood the 2 oppositions he made. 3: Instead of humbling himself and returning to truth, ARH attacked those students of knowledge who refuted his falsehood
Then affair of ARH (him saying that Ibn Abbaas and prophet Muhammad praised khawaarij) was brought to scholars. Then those scholars said this saying of ARH is falsehood. Then Daar-us-Sunnah translated what those scholars said. After that what ARH did was, instead of taking the advice of those scholars, ARH made a response video and he called that video response to Daarus sunnah. ARH should have called that video response to scholars, not daarus sunnah. Because Daarus Sunnah did nothing except translating the kalaam of those scholars. In that video ARH asked another shaykh (who have issues such as he says we can read and benefit from books of Hasan Al-Bannaa and Sayyid Qutb, praises Salmaan Al-'Awdah, and etc) (it should be obvious why ARH would ask person like this about his saying that Ibn 'Abbaas and prophet Muhammad praised khawaarij). ARH asked this shaykh about his saying that Ibn 'Abbaas and prophet Muhammad praised khawaarij. And still that shaykh didn't said in any way that ARH was right about saying that prophet Muhammad and Ibn 'Abbaas praised khawaarij. However, ARH misunderstood that speech of that shaykh and thought that shaykh said ARH was kinda correct. And titled that video response to Daarus sunnah, and that video have the same title up to this day. Later on when ARH was corrected that his shaykh didn't agree with ARH. Then ARH made his tawbah video. In that tawbah video he only made tawbah for saying that prophet Muhammad and Ibn 'Abbaas praised Khawaarij. However, ARH didn't made tawbah for debating Abu Bara, for praising Abu Bara, attacking students of knowledge and Daarus sunnah.

@Ibrahim.l20 if being on the path of the salaf and not following surooriyah (when ikhwanism and salafism mixes) and exposing frauds like "ustadh" abdurahman is being a hizbi, wallahi I'm proud to be a "hizbi" or wahhabi or madhkhali. Wallah akhi believe me when I tell you that just yesterday when I replied to your comment was when I deleted 30 plus downloaded lectures of Abu taymiyyah and Abdurahman hassan. It's not easy try to leave someone you watched for 2 years or even more, trust me I know it's hard but it's the haq, you have to realize there are people in islam who have memorized entire books of hadith, qur'an etc but that doesn't mean anything if they are mumayyi’ah and surooriyah. In the end some people will chose to follow their heart and emotions over the ulema, sahaba and rasool. Don't think just because someone can quote the qur'an perfectly means he is upon the haq.
Have you seen the video of him praising a dae*hi kharji and then making a "retractment" statement which wasn't even clear? I know I couldn't believe that but debate is on TH-cam you can watch yourself and the "retractment" is on his Twitter, the haq is clear.
