    You need to get airlift system. Attaches to air compressor. Takes all air out of system hoses will collapse Close the valve attach the hose that's in bucket of coolant. Open valve and it sucks right in. Boom done so easy. Best tool you'll every buy.

    when you pictured the thermostats, what was the thermostat on the far left? bc i think theres two different ls2 style thermostats, one for the gto and one for the ls1. bc one has 4 bumps on the bottom of the thermo and one has 4 holes on the bottom of the thermo? and i think they have very minute internal diameters where it contacts the bypass valve so im damn confused. u can see the different thermos on ws.6 stores website.

    What’s up man I been trying to do a coolant flush on my t/a that already as a 160 thermostat. The problem I’m having is that I’m trying to flush out all the coolant out(i change out all the fluids with new fluids) with distilled water/drain it like 5-7x and it keeps coming out coolant instead of clear water! Is there a a way to completely drain all the coolant in the cooling system(block,heater core, radiator and water pump) without unscrew the engine plugs? I have like 5-7 gallons of coolant from which I keep trying drained so I can put new coolant back in!

    • @TWAMotorsports

      Unhook on side of the heater core and flush from there

    • @Wrensspeedshop
      @Wrensspeedshop 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I recall correctly on my last Trans Am, if you’re actually able to get to it, you can unbolt one of the coolant caps, can’t think of the exact name, on the side of the block to help flush out even more coolant. Regardless you’re gonna need a lot of distilled water. I’m sure somebody will correct me if I’m wrong but I found that tip to be helpful when doing mine a few years back and I want to say I found it on LS1 tech.
