An emf is the total chemical or other form of energy converted to electrical energy. Like a battery. And a potential difference tells us how much electrical energy is lost. For ex:a potential difference across a resistor tells us how much electrical energy have we lost. And a emf tells us how much electrical energy a source can generate. They both have the same unit but they do differ a lot .

महोदय जी मेरा एक सवाल है की मान लो की मेरे पास 0.75 mm का 100 मीटर लंबा वायर है ओर उस का रेसिस्टेंस करीब 18 ओम हो वायर को 220 वोल्ट से शार्ट कर दे तो तुरंत पूरा वायर जल जाएगा लेकिन किसी इंडक्सन मोटर में अगर 18 ओम से भी कम रेसिस्टेंस होने के बावजूद भी शार्ट सर्किट क्यों नहीं होता 🤔 है इसके पीछे क्या कारण है कृपया विडियो जरूर बनाए धन्यवाद,
