I did! I just use extra thick cardstock paper and cut it down to size. I have not tried shipping cake toppers in bubble mailers. I always ship them in boxes! I feel like the stem on the cake topper could break so easily 😬
Thanks so much for this! I am definitely anticipating the video on how you package large signage. That’s what’s scaring me the most 😵💫 lol. Your channel is so helpful to me as I’m trying to launch my own acrylic business. There’s so much to consider. God bless you sis! 😊
I’m so glad I’m able to help you! Thank you so much for supporting my channel and watching my videos! Your business is going to be great! Good luck with everything! ❤️🥰
I really enjoyed your videos. They have been so helpful. I want to start up a new branch to our hobby. Can you tell me where you prchase your boxes and mailer bags? I looked at Uline but I saw nothing I would want. Please advise. Thank you, Mrs. Roof
Thank you!! ❤️ I have found most of them on amazon! I also ordered some on Etsy too from a shop called Von Creative! Here is the link www.etsy.com/shop/VonCreativeCo
Hey Friend! Good to see your pretty face again! Thank you for making this video! This was so helpful! Do you mind sharing where you get your cello bags? I've been considering using cellobags with my products.
I appreciate all of this information shared! As a newbie small business owner from the bottom of my heart. I too, almost didn’t start my business because of shipping fears! I make hair bows so they are very easy to ship considering their weight. However, I just started the dive into making acrylic markers for my friend’s and have been scared to ship! Also, do you seal the back of your paint so it doesn’t scratch?
Shipping is so scary in the beginning, right?! I’m so glad we didn’t let it stop us! So yes, the acrylic baby milestones are a little more heavy than any of my other items, but they are totally doable! The shipping typically costs me $5-$8 depending on where it’s going. 12 milestones are typically under 1 pound so they ship first class (cheaper) but 13 or 14 milestones can get to be over a pound depending on your other shipping materials used and the size of your box! But you got it! Don’t be scared! Yes, I do seal the back of my acrylic pieces that I paint! I use a thin coat of Polycrylic. I have it linked in a few of my work with me videos! Thank you so much for being here and for supporting my channel! ❤️
@@CassieCouncil I tried to seal but I feel like it just looks messy!!! I’m very particular too. I wouldn’t say a perfectionist when doing this for others but pretty darn close and now I feel like the two sets I’ve done aren’t worthy of listing! I know it’s fool proof lol but I got bubbles , I don’t know what I did wrong lol. Maybe your next video? How to paint and seal acrylic’s properly? LOL!!!! Do u just seal the painting part or do u completely just cover the entire circle with the polycrylic? Sorrrry all these questions!
@@Youalwaysmatter OMG! Okay so what type of paint are you using? If it’s a metallic paint then it may be bubbling because of the metallic! I’ve had that happen once before. I have a silver paint that I don’t seal because of that very reason. It’s really just trial and error unfortunately 🥺 Try doing another coat of Polycrylic over the ones that bubbled before and see how it looks. And only paint over the previously painted area. DO NOT paint on the clear acrylic areas. It will end up looking so bad. Trust me, I made this mistake! And no worries! I’m happy to help and always here if you have any questions! ❤️
Ok I did a little research.. if your acrylic paint is “satin” or “gloss” it can cause bubbles when you apply Polycrylic! So definitely use matte acrylic paint!
@@CassieCouncil omg I was going overboard and getting it past the previously painted are, they don’t look horrible but not sure if I just wasted $$$ if it’s sellable? Oh goodness. Yes I have satin paint. So it’s the paint I’m using NOT the polycrylic? My polycrylic is the clear gloss topcoat . I love matte finish too and for some reason I told myself just to stick with the matte but figured ehhh it’s all acrylic paint lol
Great video. I’ve been wanting to try the acrylic rounds but the ones you buy are to expensive right now and I don’t want to try buying 100 of them lol. Do you know of another good place to buy small amounts?
Thank you Susan! Right, so if you’re looking for a smaller amount… just go on Amazon and type in “4 inch acrylic rounds” and there should be smaller quantities available!
Hi Cassie! Would you mind linking the cardstock you use to package your acrylic ornaments? I ordered some (110lb paper) and it is way too thin and flimsy 😂
@@CassieCouncil Thanks so much! The white goes really well with my shop theme/esthetic so I think I’ll go the Hobby Lobby route. Looking forward to more videos! Your tips have been super helpful!
I appreciate how much you help those of us considering taking the leap into our own business. Thank you!
Thank you!! ❤️
Your video was so helpful! Thank you!!!
Thank you Kristin! ❤️
Informative tutorial...thank you very much. Love your products!
Thank you!! Thank you for watching! ❤️
Your tips were so helpful. Thank you for your time. Where do you get the 4x4 wax sheets from?
Thank you! They are parchment paper sheets that I cut to 4x4 size!
Did you make the kraft paper backing for the cake topper or did you purchase them? Have you tried shipping the toppers in bubble mailers?
I did! I just use extra thick cardstock paper and cut it down to size. I have not tried shipping cake toppers in bubble mailers. I always ship them in boxes! I feel like the stem on the cake topper could break so easily 😬
@@CassieCouncil Please, what did you use to cut the slit for the cake topper?

Hello! thank you! I purchase all of my boxes on amazon! I have them linked in the description box of this video! Thank you for watching! ❤️
This video was so informative! Could you ship the monthly milestone markers wrapped in bubble wrap in a bubble mailer instead of a box?
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've always shipped them in boxes but I believe you could use bubble mailers if you like!
Thank you so much for sharing. Were you able to find a place that sells, the acryclic stands?
