Omg! Like could these explanations get any better? Adam I feel like you’ve got a rare facility to explain concepts. I personally have made the biggest improvements just from changing the way I think, which is why I really like the way you’re explaining the intention e.g ‘knockdown mindset’/ Conceptualising how to hit the ball. Could listen for hours
I have watched hundreds of TH-cam videos and somehow this one just clicked. Went to the range and hit some damn good balls and had the best 5 holes of my life with -2 under.
keep your body centered, never going forward. your line of compression is the 45 degree line Adams talked about . keep it. don't let go of it , it's the same 45 degree line you created at takeaway and took to the top , its coming down on 45 degrees as well that is your plane. its your power line.
merciejo1 keeping the body centred is one thing, but not moving forward is another, if you watch any pro golfers swing they all move towards the target during the first move they then push the left hip back (rotation) the fault is normally not shifting soon enough. If you don’t move forward youd probably be on the back foot
@@Jimbo-zd8cz moving forward is different for some who think they move their whole body forward in front of the ball, as oppose to staying center and rotating the body.
Alright everybody! So technically there is a lateral shift in all grape players with the lower body only towards the target. A couple things about this, number one, this is not something the player needs to feel intentionally that creates a slide. The player will feel centered even when they bump 2 inches laterally towards the target in the beginning of their transition, This is a very natural move and not one that needs to be felt. The better job we do and not swing off the golf ball (turning in reverse K) the more centered the rotation will feel. For many players we teach who slide, it actually feels like the lead hip is moving backwards and behind them and in reverse. Overall we want to rotate around our lead leg as if it were a post, and we want to minimize any type of lateral motion forward towards the target. Thank you guys for watching and taking such interest in our channel!
No, not at all Brett! What our players quickly learn is the same thing that gets you to hit it better and more consistent also gets you to hit it further!!! Thanks for watching!
Not the driver. The longest heaviest club in our bag is also the only one we hit up on so actually the player will need to feel the club head swing through the ball a little more!
Yes. You have to be careful, the mats can cause a lot more vibration through the body and cause injury. You have to be very aware of when you hit golf ball first and not Matt first
@@PorzakGolf Appreciate the feed back! Hard to find grass that is even remotely close to get too now a days. I’ll keep what you said and be mindful for the most part.

Loved the demo of how setup affects other aspects too. Dang good!
Thank you so much Christian! We love the game and we love sharing it with all of you!!
Setup setup setup!
This is the exact problem that my coach mad I are going over and Adam explained it in the best way possible
I've been watching your videos for a week now. I tried the bump this weekend, and had better contact instantly. Thanks sir!
Let’s go!!
Great channel man. Seriously one of the best. Keep it up and I thank you so much.
this was all really helpful especially setting up to swing more under than around the body. thnx.
Came for the compression....got the master class on set-up/weight distribution. #props
We got you covered!
@@PorzakGolf like my chest over the ball :)
He leads by example. Totally awesome!
Real good lesson. Thanks.
Great Vid Adam, thanks! from Argentina, Miguel

This video is 🔥 great help thanks
Love your channel! Thanks for sharing your knowledge
We appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
Very good video. Just to confirm to get the divot infront of the ball it's from holding the angle as opposed to moving forward
I’m no expert but surly you need to be moving forward/rotating to be able hold the angles, or you’d just throw the angles early to get to the ball

Great camera work
Thanks for your videos man! 🙏
Glad you like them!
Simple instructions and so imformative 👍
Thanks Clayton!
Under rather than around, good visual
Ur awesome!
Will be hooking up with u soon.
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
Does the hip bump limit distance due to less forward momentum on the downswing?
No, not at all Brett! What our players quickly learn is the same thing that gets you to hit it better and more consistent also gets you to hit it further!!! Thanks for watching!
Do you hold the angle on the driver too?
Not the driver. The longest heaviest club in our bag is also the only one we hit up on so actually the player will need to feel the club head swing through the ball a little more!
The knock down. Are you taking one more club and chocking down?
I assume trying to work on compressions is harder when it’s just on a mat?
Yes. You have to be careful, the mats can cause a lot more vibration through the body and cause injury. You have to be very aware of when you hit golf ball first and not Matt first

4 inches is a lot. Maybe a 2 inch compression would be just right

Tiger doesn’t take a divot lol
OMG..... this guy loves to talk, he seems to make a complicated game more complicated !!
Actually, it’s the opposite…
Yerp, I have no compression. I know what to do, I cannot do it. I am the king of thin strikes with no distance and no compression.
