Je vous trouve un peu dur avec Price .Netrebko produit des sons assez laids ici dans l'air de lady Macbeth.Par contre Souliotis est impériale ,c'est impressionnant .Quel dommage qu'elle n'ai pas su préserver son instrument . Norman que j'aime d'habitude ,me déçoit ici : elle est inaudible. Traubel est très très bonne ,quelle sonorité ,une voix très saine .

Say what you want about your personal preference of sound or color, but Anna Netrebko is still singing after twenty years onstage, Leontyne Price could still sing Aida at 70, but Elena Souliotis's voice was already in tatters when she stopped performing after little more than a decade.
I agree with the overall point of this channel but STOP intentionally lowering the volume of the singers that you are using as examples of incorrect singing. It’s disingenuous and unnecessary.
They aren’t lowering the volume, and it wouldn’t matter. The examples sound fundamentally different. Turning the volume all the way up for the non-chest voice examples doesn’t make them sound like chest voice - just loud collapsed voice.
