I’ve seen quite a few of these vlogs now on this years Carnival and it’s so wonderful to see Venice shining with people enjoying themselves again. It’s also lovely to see how generous people are with their time, allowing others to photograph them in their fabulous costumes and letting people stand with them for photos but especially the children, really interacting with the children and making every child feel special. It must be an amazing experience and really quite unique to Venice. I know other countries do Carnival in their own way….thinking Brazil especially, this type just wouldn’t look right in Brazil not would the Brazilian type of Carnival or Mardi Gras work here in Venice. It’s what makes it so special.
