Venice Carnival 2024, masks at the Venice Arsenal and St. Mark's 4K

The Venice Carnival is a widespread event that involves every district and that has its beginning and end in the beating heart of the city: St. Mark's Square. In fact, the opening procession of the Carnival with the 12 Marys arrives here on the first Saturday, and the Flight of the Angel takes place here on the first Sunday. Here, with the flying of the Lion and the proclamation of the Maria del Carnevale, Shrove Tuesday ends, the last day of the great festival.
Another enchanting place where masks have the habit of gathering is the evocative area of the Arsenale in Venice.
