I've started playing bassoon last September and expressed interest in getting reed blanks. I don't have a machine to finish it. How would you hand finish a reed?
+jose 318 there are many videos on finishing reeds by hand. Try www.steesbassoon.com for a start and just google as there are many players who have shared using files and knives to finish without machines.
