It is based on Honda City platform which had scored 5 stars in Asean NCAP Safety ratings. It will be definetly safer than Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and Toyota Hyryder
And in terms of features , milage and hybrid option and looks grand vitara would beat it. However vitara would definitely score atleast 4 stars in safety

@@Jz-fj5ki don't judge engines by drag races. Thar and nexon is heavy w.r.t to grand vitara. So , grand vitara has great power to weight ratio. It's obvious it will win drags.
Spec wise best 1.5 NA petrol engine is from honda in our market.
@Harikrishnan P S you are right, honda engines are better . I agree . But I somehow feel this time around it will perform similar to grandvitara because of the size and heaviness of honda Elevate. Honda built quality is very good, and it is heavier than similar specced grand vitara. So obviously, there are chances that both cars might perform similar on the road according to the power to weight ratio. Maruti engines are reliable, too. But they make very light cars, which is a drawback. In case of grand vitara, maruti is expecting 4star in global ncap. Cost of ownership and cheaply available parts make maruti affordable for many Indian families. They have showrooms every where. I heard from honda customers who waited for 3 months to get their parts replaced . Honda city parts are expensive compared to maruti, but we can accept it because they have quality. But availability of parts and good service is a must have.

Honda elevate has ADAS features, reliable engine, Leg space , comfort driving ground clearance..honda has better advantage...
No all wheel disc brakes which is an important safety factor.
At the end it will all come to the pricing, and most case it's and base and the middle varients will sell the most, creta starts at 13lakhs for petrol varient and it's priced similarly to the hyryder and vitara. And it's not about the sunroof or adas

Very wrong assumption. I own a Honda and I bother about Mileage. Keeping the fuel prices in mind these days, Mileage is a concern for almost everyone... perhaps, except those who drive Mercedes, Audi, BMW etc.

Did Anyone noticed in ELEVATE, the top speed is 180kmph. Just like the AMAZE max speed. I have a hunch, 180kmph max speed, 6Speed MT, the engine could have been tweeked and made so much EFFICIENT oriented (Mileage) . Do the maths dear all. U will get the idea. Only need to know is the weight, if its under 1200kgs. Then definitely, the car ELEVATE, is purely a good MILEAGE focused car, mainly with the Fuel price and making out more Mileage.
And as for safety rating no car is safe beyond 100 or even 80, creta Is 3 but offers 6 airbags as standard and 4 discs as standard, and vitara is rated at 4, and elevate at 5 but I would not take 5 as granted.
It's a major confusion. Certain things we get in each other is always + or -. The features of safety when we think. Features are still issue. Safety wise elevate seems to be better.

Honda elevate is better than grand Vitara in all aspects except feature set list . Honda as usual was sleeping and is too lazy to just provide basic creature comforts like tpms , ventilated seats and type c ports and rear headrest for the middle passenger .
