Well, it is good to keep this hobby not so popular. Quadcopter drones became hugely popular and look what it did to RC hobby. A lot of restrictions and concerns. In 2010 year i could fly my foam RC airplane right in town without any worries and people around were liking to see my stuff. Now in 2023 i afraid to walk with my plane in hands on streets because what if police will see me, so it damages my motivation too and i don't fly much now. Btw, recently i got interest in helicopters so yes, +1 person to the hobby. Nice and gracious machines, especially big impact was when i learned that they can autorotate and 'glide' by that, wow. They are easier to transport than planes, so probably will suit current situation well :)
Awesome video of the set up. I have a DX9 as well. Does the manual say how to set it up? I want to get one of these and Fusion 360. How long does the battery last?
Yeah I'm wondering that? What radio do you have? I have an NX8 and I noticed looking at the channels, it normally has flight mode next to gear, or even the switch that flight mode uses, which is usually B, set to gear, both seem to work. I tried both on my fusion 180 and it didn't seem to make any difference. The funny thing is it has SMART plastered all over the box, but SMART isn't mentioned once in the manual.
Thanks for video I tried to hover my blade 150 indoors and it tipped and scraped the blades, I'm not that good so it was a bad idea. My blade 230 smart hovers rock solid though in a small space.

How did you get the gear to go into f mode option? Mine doesn’t have that available

have you ever made a heli settup? mostly I like the radio settings. confusing and impossible to follow your doing.
