  • The fear index for people losing their job in the near future is at the highest level ever recorded along with the amount of people looking for a new job is also at the highest level ever recorded according to the New York fed. This along with the abysmal jobs revision data that just came in today will be a guarantee the Fed cuts interest rates in September. What a sign of a strong economy...

    I think the retirement crisis will get even worse. A lot of people can’t save because of low paying jobs, inflation, and insane rental rates. And now that home ownership is out of reach for middle class Americans, they won’t have a house to retire with either.

    • @robert-1miller
      @robert-1miller 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Rising prices have affected my intention of retiring at 62, working part-time, and building my savings. I'm worried about whether individuals who weathered the 2008 financial crisis found it less challenging than my current situation. The stock market's volatility, coupled with a reduced income, is making me anxious about having enough for retirement.

      This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

      Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

    Recessions are part of the economic cycle, all you can do is make sure you're prepared and plan accordingly. I graduated into a recession. My 1st job after college was aerial acrobat on cruise ships. Today I'm a VP at a global company, own 3 rental properties, invest in stocks and biz, built my own business, and have my net worth increase by $500k in the last 4 years.

      Who could afford it? And besides, where would you go? Every nation is struggling right now because of wealthy WEF members decisions. It seems obvious to me that if you put people that know nothing about climate change, don't know how to fairly run a government, don't really care about the masses, and are only concerned about protecting themselves and their money, that your going to have chaos. I vote we remove them from their WEF positions and we fill the WEF with civil engineers who can actually get things done without wrecking the world's economies. Makes sense to me. At least the engineers could come up with a workable plan on how to build cities under ground to escape the excessive heat and stronger storms. If things are as bad as what scientist are saying, then it's probably too late to do anything toward stopping the change anyway.

      Why, every fire department across the country should be in an uproar. Do our first responder firefighters -- whose labor and very lives are already overtaxed in coming to the aid of wildfire states like California (for example) -- deserve this?....
      Who wants to become a firefighter as more of these EV explosions occur? These fires are indestructible by responders, the flaming fumes are potently intoxicating to the surrounding community, forced to evacuate indefinitely until the fire decides to die and its lethal fumes blow out of the atmosphere. What a waste.
      (Tell me again how this "green" energy product serves and save$ our society, our environment, our tax dollars, and sustains our first responder systems?)
      If government and such "green" corporations don't give a flip about our firefighting first responders, why would they give a flip about the TRUE GREEN ecological environment?
      Reality is, this planet doesn't possess the volume of natural resources that would be needed to erect the infrastructure these FAKE "green" energy dreamers invent -- it's all fantasy -- gimmick for greed that government and corporations dream up to get at YOUR wallets: the ONLY GREEN they care about.

      The argument that electric vehicles are more environmentally friendly than regular gas combustion vehicles is also a lie. The amount of fuel used and pollution created to unearth all of the rare earth minerals for the batteries more than offsets the savings of EV. Not to mention the price difference that more often than not isn’t recouped by the owner versus the fuel savings.
      It’s all a scam and that’s why Toyota is against it. When asked by the media why Toyota doesn’t go all in on electric vehicles the CEO of Toyota replied that Tokyo already has an electrical grid issue during the summer. Replacing all of the vehicles to electric would crash the electrical grid. If the US actually does go that route it will make what happened to Texas look like child’s play.

      @Chordonblue 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Ford announced this also.
      Here's the problem though, the reason why they were getting into EVS wasn't because it was trendy. The reason is because of the outrageous EPA standards that are going to be crammed down everyone's throat very shortly.
      In less than 3 years, cars are supposed to get an average of 53 mi to the gallon. Yeah, that's just great except that that's the average. That also includes light trucks.
      It means that every car, at its heart, is going to be an electric with a gasoline generator being thrown in it. It's the only way they can meet those standards.

    I have made this comment several times on this channel. In 2008 I was 31, owned a home, had a business and was 100% unprepared for 2008. It kicked my butt. That was some of the lowest points of my life. Btw the business did not fail, although there were times I thought it would. I came out the other end eventually. Which was a very long time. What I learned was 1. Not to be in debt
    2. Save 6 months of income 3. When it looks shady, save more. 4. Being prepared is an amazing feeling. I will never put myself in another situation where I’m not financially in charge.
