No? It's just that he turned the combat off (he set story mode to the maximum values, 1% damage taken and 1000% damage dealt, the combat is essentially disabled at that point and it's impossible to die) then criticized the combat when he didn't try to learn it. Additionally he complained about the navigation which was only a problem due to him SKIPPING ALL THE DIALOGUE WHICH TELLS YOU EXACTLY WHERE TO GO. If he's playing on story mode, there's no excuse to not be paying attention to the story. It just seemed like he hated everything about this game and blamed it all on the game when every single problem he had was just a problem with HIM. And to be clear, it's not that the game isn't difficult. It obviously is. That's the point. But to turn on story mode and barely even address it, then still complain about the nonexistent difficulty of a game where you're invincible and can 1shot everything... Yeah no, that's bratty behavior and a horrible "review." And then to go and shit on the story and navigation when he's actively doing his best not to pay attention to any of it... Aaaand the cherry on top is him saying he 100%d it when he had the combat disabled, skipped every bit of dialogue and had no idea what was going on at any point, and STILL didn't actually 100% it. All he did was criticize a bunch of things that he did his best to never actually experience. His criticism is constantly unfounded because he didn't even TRY to learn, he literally gave up on every aspect of the game immediately then spent his entire playthrough crying about all the problems he was inflicting on himself. You simply cannot blame the game for some of the problems he had, like not knowing where to go when he actively REFUSED to read anything from a game that does its best to tell you where to go. He should have just not played it and not uploaded this incredibly dishonest review. He didn't give the combat a chance, he skipped through the entire story, and he didn't 100% ANYTHING about the game despite saying he did. He probably wouldn't have killed as many things without his explosive talismans and energy blade...
Been wanting to play the game but don’t have time but if you played Hollow knight on controller. You can probably have a advantage because this game is quite similar to Hollow knight.
Hollow knight? Pls
I am going to fall asleep your video again 😅😅
For me it was, not 10/10 like somethings could have been better, but rll good, I would say like 9/10, about exploration, the game does tell you where to go, it is like, you unlock an abillity, remember aomewhere u saw that required that abillity? Just go there, and I get that the parry mechanich isnt for everyone, but I have lots of ng+ on sekiro so I kinda have the hang of it already, and for me, they worked perfectly, but exploration could have been mkre rewarding tough, about the boss fights, they are incredible, I mean it might have not worked out for you, but for me, it worked pretty well!
The game tells you where to go, yes, but this dude didn't read ANYTHING despite playing on story mode. I genuinely do not understand why he even played this game, let alone uploaded a video saying he 100%d it when he didn't come anywhere close. It seems like he could not have been less interested in any aspect of this game.
@@GigaLigma for me it clicked massively, but I kinda understand that get your ass whiped over and over and over isnt for everyone, for me this is perfect, but some ppl dont like it, and I respect that, now about getting lost and dont read, I agree with u on most part of it, the thing is, for who have the game to click, it is perfect, like for me it was, but for who doesnt click, it can get meh
@@gabrielbenini4064 I think the game is very fun and the controls and mechanics are good. But I understand why some people may want to avoid the very challenging combat and play on Story Mode.
But when someone plays on Story Mode then doesn't even pay attention to the story, I really have to wonder why they are bothering to play a game they clearly don't enjoy.
@@GigaLigma he did it just to launch the video, and finish the review, he said that if it wasnt this he would have dropped and dont bother to play, exactly like u said
Game of the Year.🥳
29:27 aw... Thank you ~
wow Skyes...you went to the pee lake and didn't drink any of the pee? I don't believe it!
20:18 did I dream or did you just complain about the game being too easy from you manually chosing to deal 10 times damage...?
I am getting confused, do you actually want to skip fights or not...?
You know that there are a fiew numbers between 100 and 1000%, right...?
We don't have samurai in china
Yep, was going to mention this. But hard to expect Westerners to be fully aware of all the nuances between various Asian cultures. You can only educate and hope awareness spreads
do this again and NOT use strie mode and just gut good.
Yeah I love this guys voiceover and vibe, but keeping it on big ez mode the while time is kinda 💀.
Like, story mode is fine for a fair handicap but just bypassing everything is kinda wacky.
@theperfectcat1238 It's not even insanely hard if you tweak the numbers a bit
Like dude didn't need to go 1000% damage
He could have just went 50% damage reduction
200% damage
So he could at least actually fight the bosses
@@fed3758didn't even know you can do all that, not that I would have. I don't really see the point of caking through a game like this
@@robr286 I can understand using story mode if you just hate combat or challenging games but you like the vibe and want to experience the story, atmosphere, and maybe the platforming aspect of the game.
But this guy hated the combat, hated the platforming, paid 0 attention to the story, and explored so little that he wasn't even aware of how far he was from 100%. I truly do not understand why he even played this game because he obviously hated everything about it and had 0 interest even in the setting and story.
53:12 nah that was actually sick as fuck, this video is amazing👍🏾
27:19 hum... correct... And... Correct... Both of these guesses were true.
15:06 ... I usually hate to criticize but here... I have no idea... The final boss took me less than half of this time... What were you doing for this long...? The fight is perfectly fair and quick to learn, it is almost mind-blowing how quickly one could master the patterns.
If you truly did not care enough to actually try to get good, you have no right to criticize this piece of art of a game.
Oh. I just continued watching and you skipped it?
If you cannot recognize your mistakes and learn from them in the slightest, why playing a Metroid vania soulslike?
Note that I do not criticize you for adjusting the difficulty but for being arrogant about it and blaming the game rather than recognizing that you aren't good at it.
Elden ring is a souls game not a soulslike game the difference is souls games are actually made by fromsoft while soulslikes try to be like fromsofts games (inspired not copying)
But great video
I see your point but it could also be argued that the moniker souls like was from demons and dark souls which elden ring is not part of. So it can just as easily be called souls like. Same as with bloodborne, it's every bit a souls game or souls like and I hate when people call it the soulsborne genre, it's redundant, and sound pretentious. No one is confused if you don't add the borne into the name
You boss rushed while one shotting everything, yet complain that you don’t understand the ending and think that the progression is bad? You didn’t even understand what the herb catalyst did?? Anyone can play the game however they want, I get that, but you didn’t even try to listen to the story while turning combat off basically. It’s unfathomable that people like you exist.
You should really play ghost of Tsushima, it’s the best game ever
git gud brother
35:55 this boss is actually not too hard... It's a bit of a shame that you skipped it...
Dude practically skipped the whole game.
@esincorporated6123 yes but this boss in particular would have taken no time to defeat.
Y can you one shot absolutely everything???
he has story mode on
@ oh ok
he basically disabled combat
I wish I had your patience 😂
The patience of killing bosses with 2 arrows. Amazing will and patience to do that
What patience? He just 1 shot every boss
@@kakashi644 Couldn't even beat the first main boss without essentially activating cheat code mode.
got bored watching after he was just one shotting everything with arrows
Good game
LOVE THE WORK
Hello! Your title is a comma splice, which is a grammatically incorrect attempt to join two independent clauses with a comma. You could fix this in a few different ways:
- Semicolon: "I played 100% of Nine Sols; it was miserable."
- Period: "I played 100% of Nine Sols. It was miserable."
- Conjunction: "I played 100% of Nine Sols, and it was miserable."
Personally, I like the period option best for this particular case. Take care and have a wonderful day!
look man I'm sorry, but did you even considered playing the actual game while recording this? You sucked all the challenge out of the challenging game, why?
What game would you like me to play 100% of next?
@@SkyesToo i say you should do hollow knight next
You could try to do 100 days in the long dark lol but that would be like a year worth of work
@@SkyesToo hollow knight is the best metroidvania out there.

Reviewing a game you have 0 understanding of is crazy work lmao. This is one of the worst videos I've ever seen 😭
Looks like you triggered the "this obviously hard game isn't hard and you can't have an opinion on it unless you full clear on max difficulty" contrarian masochist crowd...
yep looks that way lol. I don't understand those people. just let people play how they want
@@DarmanORChow are they "not letting" him play how he wants? It appears he finished the game with a total of 10 arrow shots for all the bosses. No one stopped him. sorry but you have to get clowned for playing a game on story mode and still saying it should have been easier. That's low hanging fruit that simply must be plucked
It feels like this video was just made for the explicit purpose of insulting a game he BARELY played.
@@DarmanORC I just think that you significantly dampen the experience in this type of game when you activate what is essentially cheat code mode and make everything so easy that in infant could manage to do it and even with all these downright trivializing advantages he still complained that it was too difficult.
Our point is that you really have a (quite frankly) trash opinion that cannot be taken even remotely seriously when you call a game with cheap codes "Too Hard"
People who are bad at games have no opinion that matters.
@@GigaLigmaYou're wasting your breath.
