- The PCT journey continues as Anna and I prepare for a norovirus scare, tackle the snowy Fuller Ridge, descend 6500 feet down to the desert floor, hike through a wind farm, and begin our trek through the San Bernardino Mountains. Cheers!

So impressed by your videos. I have watched hundreds (thousands!) of PCT videos over the years and very few have your production quality; great pacing, cinematography, and use of music. Having videoed our own PCT hike in 2020 I understand better than most how difficult and time-consuming it is to produce decent videos while on trail. Please keep it going, you're inspiring us to go do the PCT again next year!
That might just be the best compliment I’ve gotten! It is time consuming to edit every night after a long day of hiking, but I have fun doing it, and I’m glad to hear it inspiring others. I hope you get to hike the PCT again next year! It’s amazing (as you already know)! Cheers 🍻
Loving your videos. One of the best pct vloggers this year!
Thank you so much!
Absolutely amazing nice sound. Guys I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak.add this sound in your bucket list.
Good for you for pressing through the intimidating sections. While there may be a time to bail or go around, I've already watched other hikers get through this section before you. You've got this! PCT hiker 2017.
Trying to keep it a complete hike as much as we can. Thanks for following along! Cheers!
I am so glad you guys are going on and doing it!!
Really enjoys watching your adventure, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I often buy a product for the container. I've bought bulk containers from Amazon, Paper Mart, Uline,
That climb outta Idyllwild with full packs is no joke
No it’s not! About to do the same thing out of Wrightwood. Apparently we didn’t learn our lesson haha
@@justinhitsthetrail5225 oh no please tell me you didn’t do the Acorn Trail
We messed up 🤦♂️ it’ll be in a video in a couple weeks
@@justinhitsthetrail5225 don't tell anyone but i did that too because i ran out of water and nobody else was on trail.... i went down the acorn trail after midnight.... then after a couple zeros i got a ride back to the trail....... at inspiration point 🤫
yes i skipped those miles, not sorry about it
Thru-hikers will eat 5 day old McDonald's and be like "ermergerd I got Norovirus!"
Just boil but nice
That’s an option. Just uses up a lot of fuel and will take more time.
Glad you guys are maintaining the "purist" spirit. Would've hated to see you skip to Big Bear.
I don’t know if I’d say “purist”, just trying to maintain a footpath to Canada. If there are other sketchy or washed out sections, but there’s an alternate option to hike around, we might take the safer option.
@@justinhitsthetrail5225 Alternates when necessary are good, skipping not so much😀
