I can not put into words how much I want to see an uncensored AH video that reveals everything that’s been beeped out or otherwise censored over the years
I miss Ray at AH, but he's happier with what he's doing now. When he announced he was leaving I wasn't surprised, the months before he left he was getting quieter and quieter during vids, sometimes I'd startle when someone said his name, cause he hadn't said a word the whole time and I didn't even notice he was in that vid. I really got the feeling that he wasn't having fun anymore and was just going through the motions. It's not the same without him, but I'm happy that he's happy.
I would personally say no to both Funniest and most influential would be Gavin and Geoff who are also the most successful currently so that tracks, Geoff has done multiple stand-up comedies. Geoff, Burnie and Gavin carried Rooster Teeth for 10 years creatively.

Gavin although a huge part of AH didn’t exactly move the brand forward in the same way Ray did. And Geoff as a founder was never the comedic lynchpin, especially after he stopped drinking.

Looking back, they were my entire life during my middle and high school days and I think back at those times fondly. I remember coming home after school to watch the latest Let's Play (sometimes using their vids as background noise while I do homework) and if it was a Friday, my night was already planned watching the boys play MC. Like many people, I've simply grown out of their content, moving on to other and better people to tune into and by around my college years, I've completely disassociated myself with AH content completely (as well as RT as a company). I actually looked back at AH very recently and my god have they fallen off, making so many changes, following a genre of content that's has been seen as outdated AKA lets plays, and especially employing these new unfunny goons; they're completely soulless at this point. To close, just wanted to give my final thanks to pre-2017 AH (fuck 2018 AH and beyond) and to Ray for being part of the crew that made my middle and high school life. You were the real ones. Fuck present day AH and RT

All of these new projects are still under RT. Pretty sure Jeremy has been way out of AH's radar for some time, only appearing occasionally, but he's off doing his own thing and streaming and idk what happened to Matt.

I remember the day Ray left. I was a wreck cuz I didn’t know he was moving to Twitch. I follow him there and still have a laugh. But I miss the old AH days so much sometimes. I had a rough go of things in middle school, and those guys really made me look forward to things. Rushing off the school bus to watch Minecraft or even to just rewatch the WWE intros. Shit was a simpler time
It'd be nice for AH to go back to playing a wide variety of games again. It seems like they only ever play the same five or six games anymore and when they do play something different it's always some shitty early-access Steam game.

Ray, in my opinion, was one of the only things keeping AH together and I've pretty much stopped watching new content completely in favour of Ray's streams. AH has gone to shit but it's good that Ray, and probably the rest of the guys in the near future, have some way of keeping in touch with fans and making content they like on their own terms
I watch a lot of Rays vods now on his yt so I still get to watch him play games. But that last bit of him walking through the tunnel still makes me sad.

I just want to say how impactful watching this was. I remember when all of this stuff happened. I watched this part of Achievement Hunter/Let's Play heavily during one of the hardest times in my life. Seeing him leave achievement hunter and do what he wanted to do, and do it well inspired me. Every time I see that clip of him going through the do not enter area and leaving the game reminds me of those times, and how I used to feel like I would never be brave enough to take a chance. But Ray changed that for me. I loved him for his time with these guys, and I still enjoy his content from time to time still. Thank you for making this

It was OP complaining about how AH's quality immediately went down the toilet and just generally whining about it not being what it was, so it's bad. Not even that he just no longer found it funny. Just insulting the channel, the content, and the people that liked it.
