When purple wasn't helping cardblock, my thought was that you should have moved back a territory and blocked with an additional one to include purple's cap, so that he would have the opportunity to Su- if he got bored.
Without seeing it, green took magenta from the start, which is why they botted out and attacked you, and why green left there cap as a 2 turn 1….surprised you missed that opportunity to yoink their cap
So im an avid hunter, I hunt as often as the government allows. The ethics of hunting are actually really complicated, depending on where you are. So in the United States humanity nearly wiped out all of the wolves from most of the country. This left an opening for all of the deer, elk, moose, and other bigger game animals to expand at a rapid rate. The problem with that became obvious quickly. They ate all of the available vegetation. This didn't just eliminate their food source, it decimated the environment. With less grasses and shrubs topsoil became runoff into streams and rivers choking out the fish. Bugs became scarcer leaving the smaller mammals to have less to eat. And of course most animals began to starve because of all of this. The only solution was to introduce a predator to trim the size of the animal populations. Nobody wanted to see the wolves return, so hunters became necessary to keep nature in check.
"That's a GM in disguise" When I first started playing, I was GM level good. I beat Masters and Grand Masters, but struggled heavily with novices and beginners. Back then I didn't play caps. Back then before I played caps, my rank never got better than "expert" despite being good enough to beat grand masters. Too many games of noobs slamming me forcing me to lose my position just made getting grand master impossible. I only really started to rank up when I finally started playing caps. It's not necessarily a "GM in disguise". It could be a player like I was who mostly refused to play meta settings and just never reached their actual rank until they finally gave up and started playing settings that nooby novices can't destroy. And yes, the suiciding into me was always 99% unprovoked. I'm literally retreating my units so they can have their bonus and I'm playing nice yet they stupidly believe "ramming every one of my troops into this person is a smart idea". The only joy I would have is making those players get last place. I play caps now. It's not enjoyable to be have a players slam 100% of every troop they own into you before turn 4...... 15 games in a row. This happens no matter how nice you play. I don't think beginners and novices even notice troop movements nor pay attention to how easily they will die if they have no army.
As someone from the Delmarva peninsula and lived here all my life, OC MD is a great place to go. Very touristy now but the seafood down there in the beach area of Dewey, Rehoboth etc is amazing. I'll forever be spoiled by how good it is. Only place that matches how good it is down here is in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. As a beach lover give it a solid recommendation Pete!
@FreePete I checked on Google maps as I hadn't heard of it personally (only 30 so I asked my mom too) and it may of closed. My guess is you went to Fenwick, Bethany or Dewey Beach as those are the 3 closest towns in Delaware to OC. It's a shame as when you said it I was like "damn I gotta get me some crabs from there!"
1:04:00 Pete man. All skills require practice, ESPECIALLY dangerous weapons. I don't suggest your first use with a fire arm being when you are using it. I suggest getting time in at the range so you get comfortable enough to NOT make mistakes with the firearm that could endanger other people. I make the assumption that you've never used guns before because most of us who do use them would never say "I would rather hunt than go to the range". If you actually have proficiency with firearms and still say that, count me surprised. That sounds like a nerd saying "I would rather play a sport than watch the sport". It shows genuine disinterest which is completely fine, but not if you ever actually plan on hunting. My little brother's first time with a gun he pointed it at quite a few people while it was loaded, safety was off, and his booger hook was on the trigger. Accidents like that are avoided when you have familiarity with the object you can only have by handling it and getting practice while under the supervision of someone who knows what they are doing. So if you ever do decide to go hunting, please get some practice in first. I tell you this as a military vet who grew up going to the range. Edit: "I view them as tools". They aren't as easy to use as you think. It's not like holding a control, seeing the red dot line up, and then having a hit scanner go off. 1/3 of the people in my division in boot camp couldn't even pass the fire arms proficiency exam (a practical test using actual firearms, not a written test)
Interesting thought on drugs/personal freedom to do whatever you want with your body. Does that also mean we should be responsible for the consequences such as health risks? Meaning the state/society should not be paying for their medical costs?
Wondering if during the 1v1, when purple had a troop in the southern germany territory, would it have been better to move most of your troop to the italy cap? Purple had no line to the other one. Or does 2 medium rolls have a better chance of bad cap dice?
I've been itching to hear you sing for awhile now, but my schedule never lines up to watch you stream to ask or have the experience. Is your 1M views video private? I've tried a couple ways and I cant seem to get to it.
They're not private they're just unlisted. Don't worry, I'm not a good singer. I think I'll throw another one up to celebrate 100k subs on the main channel.
Screaming at my phone at 4:05 about the green cap lol
Yeah, it was tough seeing Pete punt the easy snowball.

I love seeing Pete dance to music and imagining him dancing to ABBA- gimme! Gimme! Gimme! 😂😂
I just went from novice to intermediate in 4 games!!!! 8 games in total in my entire risk career. Been watching pete for over a year now though.
Let's go! I'm glad the lessons are working for you
@@FreePete I've used all the tips and tricks I've learned from watching you. Even seeing through the fog! I've been beating grand masters!
This episode got me through a rough night! Love when you are relaxed and have fun. You are the best at what you do.

I wonder if Leo's crab Shack is still there?

0:48 It is the flag of Kuwait. The flag of Saudi-Arabia is the green one with white sword and Arabic text.
I was surprised Pete didn't take the green cap on his 1st turn.

It will always remind me of being a kid and spending time with my family ❤️
When you see a two hour plus show from Pete, you know there will be some philosophical theories and thought challenging exercises 😂
Yeah man! Hope you liked it
@@FreePete I love your thought processes and logic to problems and the norm, it's a great change and widens my mind!

Sir, could you link your rock playlist here? I tried to screenshot and extract the link and I couldn't get it to work, much obliged.

Doesn't actually show anything besides 2 videos. Where can it be found?
Does pete have bipolar disorder by any chance?
