Back on the NS Buffalo Line

On Sunday January 28th, 2024 it was back to the NS Buffalo Line to see some afternoon action. We found ourselves at Northumberland Yard witnessing K21 after returning from Williamsport with the passenger cars that North Shore uses on excursions throughout Northumberland County. We then heard an empty coal train for Keating was coming up from Baltimore, so we caught NS 633 as crossed the Susquehanna River from Sunbury to Northumberland before continuing north for Williamsport, Lock Haven, and eventually Keating. Finally, we caught NS 11Z coming off the Sunbury Line at CP KASE as it would head into Sunbury after 633 passed through.

Nice to see that the Buffalo Line is still busy but not the high traffic count as it was on the earlier 2000's! The former Pennsy line from Sunbury to Binghamton NY remains active as usual traffic wise. Nice video.
