Combining my two great loves in life: music and film. Film soundtracks as proper complete album listens are very underrated, especially the golden age of Hollywood when they were hiring proper classical music composers to write film scores. I may have to put together a film score ranking at some point (or a film score composer ranking). And film soundtracks are an entirely different art form altogether. Incredible talent being able to match songs to the scenes. Martin Scorsese is one of the best at it. Edgar Wright great at it as well. Good shout for Minecraft by the way. When I go back and replay Minecraft after extended breaks, it really is the music that hits me more than anything else.
I had no idea that you could get the Silent Hill and Resident Evil soundtracks on vinyl. They look amazing and I must listen to the SH ones weekly 😂 If my detective skills are correct, sounds like you’re from the North East? Moved here a year ago so nice to know there are fellow horror geeks in the area 🧟♂️ 💀
The 2nd and 3rd are my absolute favourites, but every one from Akira is amazing 🤩 Ace, I’ve moved to just outside Norton, so please let me know if there is anything horror related that goes on locally. Dying to meet some likeminded fans

Did you manage to get the 2xLP Record Store Day release of the Blue Velvet soundtrack on blue vinyl? That one does contain "Blue Velvet".
I didn’t know that was a thing haha, I’ll have to look into that

You’re right about the accent! The other Silent Hill games have releases too but I haven’t been lucky enough to encounter them yet

Haha. I’m in Billingham, literally 5 mins away. To be honest I’m not sure of anything specific that goes on but keep an eye on local venues
@@BenSimpson1998 No way! Cheers dude, will do. I play ps5 if you ever fancy playing some time.
Is silent Hill same as movies..
There’s similarities but they’re very different really
