My god Olivia where do you find always this goodies for so cheap like 5/6.99$ you kiddin? I always find expencive vinyl prices everywhere, i’m so jealous!
If the shrink has a hype sticker I would just open the shrink from the opening and not take the shrink off. They will hold a higher resale. Cool collection though
I used to do that but then people told me it destroys the records so with my new ones a just take it off, almost all my older records still have the shrink though. 🤷♀️
It’s great you were able to find so many records at a bargain price. I have a color only vinyl collection. I’m just weird like that, and it’s expensive hobby. I guess I just buy what I like regardless of price. All these +$35 records add up. I’ll have to be on the look out for clearance from now on.
Great video as always! Also any Bad Omens vinyl is crazy hard to get right now but they’re so good. You should see them in concert if you haven’t yet! They just announced another tour too.
I've got that same Jimi Hendrix and The Experience album. You said you didn't grow up listening to music like that via your parents. I'm curious. Which bands, groups or artists did your parents listen to ? Was it Classic Rock ? Classic Hip-Hop ? Motown ? Jazz ? Blues ? Country ? Folk ? Reggae ?
I use the Walmart app to scan them for hidden clearance, check the clearance section. Target I use the IN STORE scanners to see if they come up discounted or “price unavailable” which means they’re “salvage” & the customer service will sell them 70%-90% off depending on the store!
If you are opening the cellophane seal on your records, use a letter opener instead of a craft or "Stanley" knife. Although it's blunt, it will open the seal without risk of scratching the disc, cutting into the cover, or, more importantly, your fingers! Nothing worse than blood on an album cover. 😂
Where are these prices coming from? because there is no way in any store would sell album pressing records for $5 or even great albums for $15. For example, A lot of records in the cheapest in my area used stores have decent albums that are not mainstream for &10-15. Like your telling me that you can find a abbey road record for $5.
Discogs, I explained that’s what I was going to do. That way I can make sure I’m not buying something I already have when I go out shopping because my collection is all tracked. I can also see values at the time I scan them.
If you don't mind me asking, why do you actually collect vinyl? Upon watching other record collectors, they talk about their passion for the records they have, the artist, how that band or musician inspired them. It seems like in the majority of your record videos you just talk about the deal you got and how you've been wanting this but never about the artist? For example, there was a Target video you made where you said you don't really listen to Kendrick Lamar but you went and got his newly released record at the time. I don't really see any passion in your collection it seems like you just get them to just have them. Do you take the time to listen to this music and explore other musicians?
I do in fact like the majority of what I get, in this video specifically I did not go into detail about my thoughts on the albums & the songs I favor like I try to do in my other updates based on the sheer amount I got. So I chose to discuss the deals in hopes of helping other collectors find deals & understand why I have so many in this update. I do listen to Kendrick now upon purchasing that vinyl however I favor his older projects currently. I buy vinyl for artists I love or look to listen to if it’s a cool unique pressing or a bargain. I did discuss the soundtracks in this video more as to why I got the vinyl since I love the shows/movies. Or the ones I get multiple pressings of show how much that album means to me. The imagine dragons vinyl I discussed how they changed live music for me & how much I value that album & it’s crazy it’s been out as long as it has for me. I used to ONLY make music content but was so tired of my opinions being berated online that I try not to go into detail anymore or associate with that part. Music is a huge passion in my life, & always will be I just may not share it as much on my channel with album reviews or reactions like I used to. Hope this clears things up, & you’ll watch my future vinyl videos still. 🖤
loved this video!! i've recently picked up the Dear Evan Hansen Original Cast Recording and Four by One Direction vinyls! I also got Sonder by Dermot Kennedy for Christmas and it's one of my favourite albums so I hope you love it
My god your collection is what I strive mine to look like I have 11 😂 all Melanie Martinez and twenty one pilots one and one ctrl by sza Rumours by Fleetwood and one Metallica
Perhaps you are misunderstanding, the total amount of records that you own absolutely does matter and puts you in a hierarchy of relevance and coolness directly proportional to the amount you own. Sorry for your low ranking with your "collection".
Yeah I don't think the amount truly matters, I don't judge people for how many they own or what rare pressings they have either. As long as you're collecting that's what counts, but thanks for the input :)
wow the pressing on NOPE’s soundtrack really looks like toothpaste for some reason, I’m in love
It’s beautiful 🥹
Amazing vinyl update to your collection. Really enjoyed watching. Enjoy all those records!
Completely agree on Midsommar. The gatefold of that vinyl is amazing. Best breakup movie of all time 💯

Great video as always! Also any Bad Omens vinyl is crazy hard to get right now but they’re so good. You should see them in concert if you haven’t yet! They just announced another tour too.
They’re going to a festival in Columbus but the tickets are a little out of my budget rn 🥺

It was country 😅 I did listen to a lot of Bon Jovi though which peaked my curiosity for more modern pop punk or rock bands at the time!
i loved this video! I was wondering if you've preordered lana's new album? There's some really cool alternate covers and pressings for this release :)
How do you find these clearance deals? Vinyl is never on sale in my area :)
I use the Walmart app to scan them for hidden clearance, check the clearance section.

I love how you collect all genres. Did you pick up Rihanna’s “ANTI” repress?
No but I did just order LOUD!!! Very excited!
I just picked up anti 🙌🏻 but I need LOUD 😩
I just got the IGOR album recently and it’s my first album ever and I love it! What are your opinions on that album?
I own it too! Tyler is great.
Almost Famous = Best Movie of all time

omg i LOVE DERMOT KENNEDY.

Let Go’s new release is just SO GOOD 😭😭😭😭

I know this isn’t related to this video but I was wondering if you knew when 5 five below was having there Easter drop?

How many of you guys prefer CDs over vinyl?
None, CD’s suck… 😬
CDs don’t have any feel or elegance
Watch almost famous.
