100 Questions I have about Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls

- Since the series left unfinished, there are hundreds of questions to be asked. Here's just 100 of them, I'm sure I could think of many more. What questions do you guys have?

I thought of my own question is about WHY Mars is the only one to have a Alien Design, also when you asked why Mars is color schemed Green but the Planet is red. Well I noticed how her furry jacket is colored a Red-ish orange like the Planet.
maybe because it has always been speculated to there being aliens in Mars.
I have my own interpretation of the Galaxy Girls. I can imagine it being a mixture of Sailor Moon, Wander Over Yonder, PowerPuff Girls, Codename Kids Next Door, She Ra and the Princesses of Power, and Futurama (minus the inappropriate content). I have ideas for the voice cast (you’ve already seen it), the world and environment, their powers and weapons, other planets they would visit, other characters, and a plethora of villains.
I always wondered why they have roller skates too. The skates reminds me of jet set radio future. It’s pretty obvious why Milky and Andromeda have Star pupils, because they’re related and both galaxies!
I'm guessing that them having roller skates was important to the story in some way, I'm guessing they might actually hang out in a roller rink
I think they use special skates that help them move faster through space.

44. Reason why is because she was a part of the crew for PPG and is married to the creator, Craig McCracken so she obviously took inspiration from him.
48. Because MLP is already a more well-known franchise therefore it has a pre-existing fanbase, while Milky Way & the Galaxy Girls is an original property, they're obviously going to choose a pre-existing franchise that has been known to bring in the big bucks years before it grew in popularity.
It sucks, it really does, but corporate CEOs like to play it safe rather than believing in an original product in fear that it may not be appealing enough, that is what happened with Disney's Nightmare Before Christmas they had so little faith in it that they didn't even want their name attached or associated with it, that's partially why they put Tim Burton in the title.
58. There were actually meant to be galaxy boys brought to the series, Lauren mentioned in a post on DA that Galileo and Magellan (the satellites) were proposed boy characters due to being man-made objects IRL, however like Charon, Black Hole and Supernova, they were never given designs.
58 is outdated, I did learn that male characters were planned since. This was back when I was into MWGG for... a year?

My question Lauren should've answered or confirmed is that why didn't she think of having the animated series for the Galaxy Girls made into TH-cam or something like streaming service sites when she tried to pitch it in before considering to give it up in 2014? They exist for a reason as she should know.
the main streaming services around the time of the early 2010s were hulu n netflix n at that time i dont think they really had much original content ?? correct me if im wrong :]

I think I can answer some of these (But most of them are my theories btw)
0:54 - (My theory) Lauren Faust may have thought of the girls personalities based on there roman gods
0:59 - (Possibly) Since the show never got picked up by a network, Lauren Faust wouldn't have a chance for voice actors
1:18 - (My theory) why Milkyway and Andromeda has star pupils might be because they are considered galaxies
2:24 - Well if u search up other fictional characters they are all drawn in the front to see the full design than facing the back
2:38 - (My theory) You know how planets orbit their star? well it might be why Lauren Faust gave them roller skates
2:47 - Lauren Faust is the same creator of Mwatgg and Ppg
3:23 - its just a type of art style
3:37 - No there are no boys in the series, no wonder why its called "milky way and the galaxy GIRLS" lol
4:06 - (My theory) "Im your Venus" might mean "Im your love" Bc Venus is named after The roman gods of LOVE
5:28 - Lauren Faust replied to a comment on twitter, the comment asked if Lauren was ever gonna continue working on the series then Lauren actually replied, "Not YET, but who knows?" SO THE SHOW MIGHT EVENTUALLY COME BACK IF LAUREN DECIDES TO PICK UP THIS PITCH AGAIN

I hate that Neptune is portrayed as the stupid one to contrast with Uranus's intelligence. Neptune and Uranus are opposite in a philosophy sense. Uranus believes "the more you learn when you young, the greater good you can do in the future" while Neptune is taking thing in her own pace, "go with the flow". One want to learn early, the other learns slowly but surely. Neptune is smart in her own way, she is a surfer girl after all but not as competitive like Mercury and Venus.
Isn't the series' motto: "There are many way to be a girl?"
Apparently, using rolling skate in space is cool.
Lauren Faust is Craig McCraken's wife, after all.
We have to understand Mars' design in an artistic sense. Mars sees the world in an out-worldly sense that will be incomprehensible for human view. She is "alien" to us. Plus Mars is know for alien in fiction. If Lauren draw her as a human, it will give a different feel.
Well, Mercury's design is based on the Roman god of the same name, so it's Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto.
There are mundane questions that doesn't need to be answered.
These are good questions.
To answer question 27,I think they do because it the Saturn episode storyboard Saturn was being a DJ on her planet! And I also think the girls have jobs to go with that

Well, I’m my opinion, The galaxy girls are humanoid because there basically girl forms for the planets!
There's a question I have that you didn't include here and it still bothers me to this day.
I'm sure you remember Neptune (best girl btw). She has two of her artworks (and that one artwork where all 11 girls are grouped together) of her riding on her surfboard, however she still has the skates on, which means that either Neptune is defying the laws of physics or she's just using magic to keep her on the surfboard, or else she'll just roll off or fall off due to the lack of a good grip with her feet, yes I know the redesign fixed this but it still bothers me in the original design.
Glad you pointed that out. In my recent song video I removed her skates on the artwork.

For the 10th question I only know this for Mercury, though I think Mercury’s impatience is derived from her desire for speed (in which I mean speed as in doing things more faster) since the planet mercury is the fastest planet in the solar system. (Btw Idk if Mercury is actually impatient I just said that from memory)
I’m also pretty sure Venus’s elegant personality is from the fact that the planet Venus is named after the goddess of love and beauty. I’m sure that Venus’s heart symbol is also derived from the goddess of love too since hearts symbolize love.

Answer to question 14: Probably Pluto, but on that note, I made an oc called Haumea and she's a dwarf planet and she sings!

And according to Google; A galaxy is a system of stars, stellar remnants, interstellar gas, dust, dark matter, bound together by gravity.
Edit: Im wondering why Sun doesn't have star pupils, because the sun is a star.

I always wondered why all the galaxy girls resemble the Roman gods and goddesses that the planets were named after but mars is resemble as an alien instead of war of fighting like the god is? I wish they made like that she would’ve super cool but I guess they kinda gave that design to eris or eres how ever you spell that name

@@pinkfanatic ooh interesting! I remember seeing this meme of a kid doing an MLP presentation in class and being on edge when he mentioned Faust and then being disappointed MWGG wasn’t mentioned.
@@unofficialmilkyway6986 Thanks! Honestly, I'm with that kid. I hate how almost no one talks about MWGG when MLP is mentioned. I hope MWGG gets as popular as Clone High (random popularity and then revival) and I hope my presentation goes far. But at the same time, it also reminds me of how saying MWGG is better than MLP is a bit unfair. Don't get me wrong, I also prefer MWGG just because I'm so used to seeing MLP content that I want something new, but it's not even a show yet. Who knows, it could be terrible! (It hurts to say but it's definitely unlikely considering the woman behind it 😉)
