The South African and Zimbabwean narrative is honestly tiring at this point. I've lived amongst zimbos, if their country is so great, has strict laws, is much better than SA, etc, as yall always say, then yall should stay right there in YOUR own country and let us solve our problems over here in South African. We are well aware of our problems.
One thing yall won't see is us going to other african countries, Zimbabwe included and causing havoc. Stay there, fix your country instead of bad mouthing us, and spreading false narratives about us being xenophobic, etc, each chance yall get.

I'm from Zimbabwe too but I don't think South Africans are lazy. They are hardworking just like Zimbabweans and the rest of Africans. The problem is the South African system. I mean the leadership. Rich people mostly whites are using us for cheap labour. Africa as a whole is not totally liberated. That's why they punished our beautiful country Zimbabwe because Zimbabwe refused to be bullied. Now we say South Africa is rich but South Africans are poor. Let me differ to you, brother. SA is a constitutional democracy. Even the judiciary is independent. I don't understand why you are complaining about the South African systems. Maybe you can deliberate on that. It's not that Zimbabweans are suffering because they refused to be bullied, but because the country doesn't have the systems in place. That's why zim leaders confiscated land from the white minority without compensation, and now they are forced to pay those farmers because they have lost the case in the regional court. The problem in SA is that leaders don't want to implement some of the legislation like the labour relation act, SARS Act, and the immigration act. They are trying to accommodate people from other countries. That's why the country has got foreigners competing with South Africans for low skilled jobs. The labour relation acr doesn't allow that. I also fail to understand you when you South Africans are poor. We don't have to generalise. The government is busy dealing with the issue of land because there are systems in place.

I just think what Lloyd was trying to say is that because of the situation in Zim,qualified ppl will come for menial jobs in SA.So from the outside the person looks educated coz a teacher then competes with a ordinary school drop-out for a house maid job.

That's not true. There are lots of teaching jobs in countries ie UAE, Taiwan, China etc and that is where most SAns are relocating to. What would make a Zimbabwean teacher to come and work as a maid in SA? Don't believe all the lies these people are telling.

@@IB_info so they come to SA to work as maids? Since they believe that they're hardworking and educated, why aint they working as professionals that they claim they're in SA or in the UK? What about other African countries? The ones that Zimbabweans were bad mouthing SA to them, why is SA the only option in Africa, when it was painted as the worst. SA welcomed everyone, and treated all foreigners with respect, even gave them the best treatment something that they didn't get from their countries. In return we were treated like 2nd citizens, just like what boers did, we were ill treated, called lazy, uneducated, stupid and xenophobic. Most Zimbabweans are in our country illegally, they don't have a scare skill but are refusing to go back home, to an extent that they now know how to fight for their rights in a foreign country but can't do that in their own country. We have played our part as a country and its about time we focus on our national issues, and give priority to SAns. Is that too much to ask hle.

@@nokweyisangqungwana3103 You sound funny 😁 Zimbabwe is captured there is nothing any civilias can do about it, it's totally fine and normal every where in the world for people to migrate for greener pastures. SA as country is doing great than Zimbabwe hence people migrate there, its no science fiction. Its not only Zimbabweans in South Africa there are Ungadians, Kenyans, Nigerians, Malawians, Chinese, Pakistanian, Congolese etc the whole of Capetown is owned by Israelis do you go and question them why they are there? and ofcourse Zimbabweans have an advantage coz they are neighboring South African so they can come in their numbers. Your system doesn't really work so trying to apply for documents in SA is like looking for a needle in an ocean. Other African countries you are mentioning Have good economies so no need to migrate. You show hate towards Zimbabweans and can't expect them to like you and lick your ass because they in South Africa. They will lick the ass of the whites and Indians that imploy them, not a poverty striken you. The health system of the UK is largely dependent of Zim nurses and othees. You can kill and hate Zimbabweans but they will still remain in SA until they decide to go by them selves and there is nothing you can so about it. You can chess them out, deport them but in a few hours they will be back in the country coz that's what it takes to be back in SA from Zim. People often wonder why South Africans hate Zimbabweans so much (by "people" I'm talking about Zimbabweans and other Africans). Zimbabweans have benefited from SA more than any other country on the continent. S companies have invested in Zimbabwe as unfashionable asit is to do so nd thereby creating employment for the citizens, yet Zimbabweans still risk their lives crossing rivers to get into SA illegally looking for a better life and employment, which they get. They benefit from everything SA has to offer, free medical care, free education and and and.
Yet the very same Zimbabweans are the most disrespectful people on earth, always comparing Zimbabwe to SA where they paint Zimbabwe in a positive light and SA negatively, they refuse to back to their amazing country where everything works and is perfect. And we're expected to still love and accept them as our brothers, who in the world would do that?

Zimbos are educated and smart hence they are in demand in SA. Guys into SA are into crime armed robbery and do not want to work. Thanks Pinky for visiting Zimbabwe at least you will see how peaceful we are.

For someone who claims to be educated, this comment is ignorant AF. You and your people are definitely NOT in demand here. I'm not sure who lied to you and filled your head with that nonsense.
How about you keep your "educated self" there, in your country and contribute into putting it back together instead of spreading false narratives about South Africans, cause we all know that alot of your "educated people" are here causing havoc.
Unlike you and your Zimbos, our first instincts aren't to run away and go seeking "greener pastures" and abandoning our country. We are well aware of our problems and are doing our best to address them.
      Have a good day.

Thank you Pinky for visiting Zim.
However, try talk to a variety of people as opinions like Llyod’s are not representative of everyone in Zim.
It’s quite clear to me as someone who has travelled that social media fuels misconceptions between our communities. Half truths get mixed in with outright lies before you know it, entire nations are said to hate one another (when they actually do not).
I am on record with my friends (South African and Zimbos), that if we could take the best part of Zim and SA…that would be one of the best countries in the world. Not quite a Switzerland…but l would pick it any day.

They are definitely using it as a weapon.
They also don't want zims to realise they are using them. If Zims and SA blacks can be on one side united and agree together against exploitation they know it's game over.
So they came with a strategy of praising Zims and downgrading SA, behind their backs they are laughing at Zims. We've lived with them, we know them and their ideology about black people in general, they hate ALL blacks.
They can never respect people who can be easily exploited, like they did us during Apartheid. Zims should realise this and be on the side of SA blacks.
