What a feast for our eyes, this is so great to watch, especially for people in a different country (and continent) who would have never even known about this otherwise.
Wow that place is Graceland for vintage computer nerds! Will absolutely need to make a trip out there if I can ever get to than side of the country! Great video as always. VCF West next for me!
That Gateway keyboard at 3:21...I have that exact same one! Is that an SGI Octavia at 4:24? if so, it's the same model that saved Toy Story 2 from total deletion. Galyn Susman and Oren Jacobs tell a great version of THAT story.
Oh man, I am so thoroughly jealous! Some beautiful stuff in there! I spotted my first laptop (the HP ZE something-or-other) and my second laptop the (Dell Inspiron 6400) in someones pile, and see the ended up on the Free table at some point! I'd have gladly bought those, I miss them so much! 😁 What's that adorable lil' thing at 1:06? Instant subscribe! 💚
Looks like it was great fun! Wish I was there! Oh, I was there! It was good to see you again Steve! (how does one get 'friend' status from a Steve? :) )
Yes, an original Apple 1. The SE/30 with the flip down door was a Tempest (military case), I believe a black painted version was in the Watchman movie.
Love, love, love this channel. Thanks for making trips like this and documenting them.
This channel is a gem! I love this kind of content! This museum for sure will enter on my wishlist when I fly to US.
Thank you - and yes, the museum is totally worth the visit!
Nice to see so many familiar faces were able to make it. I wish I could have been there myself.
Always great to see you, hang out, and geek out together! Thanks for the shout out!!
that's great wish I could go to such event,
I dreaming that one day, we have the same museum in France ! So great !
All that's missing inside the museum are the mid-90's Apple lawn decors like Clarus the Dogcow and more.
i actually teared up when i saw the standalone G3 monitor in the first 0:56 seconds of the video. so many memories!
Awesome!

I have used a few of those computers, PC and Mac! I'll add this to my to do list.
Great Video!
This was right up the road from me and I didn't know about it! I wish I could have grabbed that Umax, one of those is on my wishlist.
I need to visit there; never been. I know the area well. Lived within 20 miles of it my entire life until I graduated from college.
Fun!
10:30 - that crisp Anders Enger's sound 🤩

7:17 The tape cartridge counterpart to an 8" floppy.

Haha, sorry I forgot to snap a photo of us, I was busy stuffing my face with lunch. But rest assured you can’t escape our geeky friend group!
@@Mac84 I figured it was more of, you took most pics and video at the start, and I was there later... its all good :)
Glad I could hook you up with some UMAX speakers to go with your Mac clones!
The StyleWriters were free, but the ink costs an arm and a leg 😅
Is any autojumble or swap meet which sales similar type of old computer and parts??
I wish we had something like this in Florida…. Does anyone know any events like this in Florida?
VCF is having an event in Atlanta, GA this weekend: vcfed.org/events/otherevents/vintage-computer-festival-southeast/
@@Mac84thanks!!!
Nice iicx box score. I have a broken one on the way. What was that se/30 with the flip down door? And was that an original apple I ?
Yes, an original Apple 1.

@@Mac84 yeah I saw the tempest recently on their website. Surprised that’s an original apple 1 though and not a repro.
So sad that we don't swap meetings like this in Germany, but at least it's a good excuse to visit USA!
10:00 my man, you are NOT the 8-bit guy lol
I bought the music just like he did and got permission to use it as well. 🤷♂️
