There was an excitement in the air with these promos. Some bad shows, sure, but there was energy. You don't see that today. It is almost apologetic. Thank you for this great post.
Good thing the great Jackie Chan was there to help The Fonz out. Also that look like a great crossover week for 'the Fall Guy' and 'trauma center'. Don Cornelius looked great 😀
Mike Judge is thinking about possibly casting Linda Evans as the voice of Krystle Carrington for an animated theatrical movie version of his animated series “KING OF THE HILL” in which the scene in question is a jury trial and Krystle is the foreperson. The defendant (also acting as his own defense counselor) is a small town school board chairman who’s also a patent lawyer charged with embezzlement of funds meant for the schools in the community where he lives. Eventually, he’s found guilty, and within seconds of the verdict getting rendered by the jury, the federal judge then imposes sentencing in order to send the defendant to serve life without parole in the federal penitentiary in Marion, Illinois.
Yeah. Both Len A. Larson shows. Tried the crossover to hook audiences. No dice though. Fall 1983 might well have been the worst season of TV. Every new show a stinkeroo.
Ernie Anderson's voice promos were legendary. R.I.P.
I miss these old shows from the 80s....I miss the 80s so much
That makes two of us.
For a moment I was back in 1983. Thanks!
With HTLV 3
Wishful thinking possibly.
Unusual.

How true that is.
9/25/1983 - 2 days before I was born.
Amazing.
AWESOME!
Definitely.
🎵That Special Feeling On ABC!🎵
Back when flashy jingles were the in thing.
Now, the all the networks feel that such pizzazz is too costly today, money wise that is.

Absolutely.
Wait, there was a Trauma Center/Fall Guy crossover?!!😂
I hope y’all will reply to this this was the final season of Happy Days
The final season of Happy Days was the worst season ever.
Not too bad an idea.
So what if Richie returned, let alone that Joanie married Chachi?
I believe it was the last season of Three's Company as well.

I wonder what made ABC move happy to 830 from its 800 time slot for nearly a decade
0:13 - It's Eda the Owl Lady!
How long did Oh Madeleine last?
One season. It was cancelled in March, 1984.
A truthful enough answer among the cold hard facts of life.
I also hope y’all will reply to this was Barry White on Just our Luck?????!!!..it sounded like him
Good grief.
So fall guy crossed over into trauma center?

It’s producer the late Glen A. Larson.
What about some of the stinkeroos that lasted longer than most, for example, “ST. ELSEWHERE”?
Only one 007 next
Yep.
