I saw my first NSX on Yokohama Bay Bridge (Daikuko futo). I was speeding like nuts late at night after buds took me out to the race scenes night life. The car culture there is intoxicating, Tokyo or in the country. I was in my FairladyZ32 (Nissan 300ZX in USA) realizing that there were no speed limits on the bridge I started to let the Z breathe, as the city roads just dont give enough room. As if the scenery wasnt an overload to the senses (early 2000s on Yokohama Bay Bridge), that was when a herd of NSXs overtook me. To paint a picture, you dont see unmodified race cars there. Followed them and eventually got to check out their cars at a rest stop. /drool

Simon C Yeah....they dont race on the Wangan anymore, the Midnight Club crash made the cops step up their game, theres cameras, extra patrols, you're not allowed to meet up in the parking lots anymore. You can still run from them, they cant go faster than 120Mph

この手の撮影に付き合ったことがあるけど、トランシーバーで連絡取りつつ「追い抜いて」「シフトダウンして」「回転上げて」とあれこれ指示される。
伊勢湾岸道が出来てから3年くらいのほうがひどかった。誰も使わないものだから地元のショップがよく最高速トライしてたよね。特定のICだとUターン出来るって情報も流れて、それこそ強引に周回してる連中もいたとか。

They can now, with issued 370z's from Nismo not saying they will catch the really powered cars but they will be over 120mph

昔、２０００年くらいに湾岸で見たけど普通にサイレン鳴らしたパトカーが一瞬でＲ３４を見失ってた。人の迷惑考えて追ってる奴と、死んでも構わないと踏んでるようなぶっ飛んだヤツじゃ話にならないと思う。どんなに正当化しても犯罪だから速度超過は良くないけど、煙草吸ってる未成年と一緒で本人が自覚するか飽きるほど満足しないと直らないと思う。
