I have been a big fan of the Under Armor tribase, especially their durability. Each shoe lasts 18-24 months, easily. For context, I workout 5-6 days a week doing cardio, HIIT, and lifting, so they definitely see some wear.

Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely looking at picking up a pair of those for myself as my Nike metcon 6 are definitely in need of an upgrade now. Do you do many shorts runs in them?

@@STAGFITNESS They do great for short sprints and lateral movement; I would not recommend going over 800m in them. I use them mainly for plyo and lifting, and they hold up well without any discomfort. I have both the Nike Metcon and the Under Armor tribase on my short list.

@@STAGFITNESSNike metcon 5 would be ok for lifting and cardio?

Yes any of the mecon series will be good for lifting, short runs and cardio. You'll probably save some money as well searching for them. @@magomes81

How the sizing on the savage 1? I have always used me tons but I’m a looking for another option? Should I buy the same size? Thanks!

I would go with the same size as they have a wider base for lifting. I'm looking at those or probably going to go with the Metcon 9's, as ive had no issues with the 6. Let me know what you do decide and how you get on with them please.
