This was really useful for me- when I’m dyeing my colours always mix too much - you have given me the answer --too much water! Thanks ❤
I love the sweater you're wearing!
Thank you! The pattern is called Rainier by Kelbourne Woollens.
I could watch this all day! Love the way you described how you reached your inspiration. That’s my favorite part of fiber arts...inspiration ❤️ beautiful colors. I’m in awe!
Inspiration is such a big part of the story. I know you get inspired that way too sometimes. Thank you!
Love your hair!
Gorgeous...you nailed it!❤️😊
I was pretty stoked! The yarn is going to be woven into a little pillow for my guest room. I can't wait!
Thank you for sharing. Loved how those colors spun up together in your finished yarn.
Thanks! I've been trying to decide what to do with it.
Looks like a 🧜♀️ mermaid...
I still have the yarn. I love it but I haven't decided how to use it 🤣
@@FiberLoveDiary omg really?... I can understand. I always buy yarn having something on my mind to make, and then it's just lost in the pile of unused yarn and unfinished projects.
Beautiful! Thank you!😊
Thanks for being here!
Thanks for inspiring
Thank YOU for inspiring. Almost every time I see your Instagram feed I want to get my paper and stuff out! Hopefully soon for holiday cards.
Good seeing you! Think I want some of that fiber, so beautiful; what were the dye colors besides the red and teal if you don't mind sharing.
I went to buy some of the fiber and it was out of stock, so I turned on the notifications! I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what the other colors were, because they were mixed up in my stock already.
I've never seen dye setting done with so little water. People seem to worry about scorching the fiber. Have you talked about it in another video?
I don't think I've talked about it before, but I have never scorched anything. I don't put my heat up very high, and I cover to keep the heat AND moisture in. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always thought that keeping the water in helps protect it from scorching. Maybe I should be more careful!
@@FiberLoveDiary , I think the low temperature is probably what matters. I guess it's easy to let it go too high unless one is careful. I know I get in a hurry sometimes.
What does this look like in a finished project? (I checked your Ravelry for handspun projects but wasn't sure anything posted was hand-painted or sparkly examples.)
There aren't any finished project pictures yet, because it's still in a hank. I haven't figured out yet how I want to use it, but right now, I am considering weaving it, so a video will come out when I do. If you subscribe, you'll get a notification. Thanks for checking!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Not my best work, but I still think I got the result I was hoping for.
