@@xythiera7255 I cant believe anyone tries to fight it. To be better on MNK you legit need to be in the top 1% of MNK users. They exist but you just don't see it like you do on controller. That aim assist is too clutch in a close fight.

@@jugo5139 Yeah, 4500hrs on mnk and still getting beamed by roller newbies in close range every other game. On mnk, you have to track perfectly, have knowledge of the spray patterns and react to smallest enemy strafes accordingly yourself, while on roller- just going over him once gives you the slowdown, that helps you a lot to stay on target. Not even talking about rotational AA in hipfire, that literally sticks to enemies. You'd have to be very dumb not to kill someone in close range with hipfire R301/flatty. They should nerf the hipfire part atleast imo (and not like they did to all assault rifles, but to the rotational AA itself, that's the root cause)

Apex is the only game you switch to MNK and feel like you’re playing a different game
When the best mechanical MnK players in the world feel they HAVE to switch to controller in order to compete - the input is broken. When you’re the best in the world at something and it’s still not close, you need to balance.
Pros aren’t even .001% of the apex player base. The fact people are saying it after watching a guy run hotter than the sun backs up the fact it’s balanced. You never see that.
I’ve had some cracked players in my lobby over the years but I’ve never seen someone melt people like that 😂 it’s a tiny freak %

@ezz5245 they shouldn't have to change inputs. In a dual input game both inputs should be equal and at the moment, controller is just better. Hal, Albralelie, Lou and a few others changed and have been more consistent than they ever were on mnk. Aim assist is just to good. This is coming from a roller player btw

Also I do own a controller and i play with it from time to time.

That seems like just a settings thing, really take the time in the firing range and figure out the exact sens that works for you 👍
Go into advanced settings and change your optic settings and response curve there. It will carry over once you turn off advanced settings again, might help with aim

Slowdown should be enough, if even that. Rotational AA feels like cheating and doesn't look legit in pro play clips.
I get that aim assist is broken, but it sucks that people are using that to discredit how impressive this game was. The angles he got, the arcs/grenades, the recoil control, and the confidence are impressive regardless of what input he's using.

Valid question but what happens when they lower aim assist from 0.4 to 0.3 or 0.2?

Either the "hitbox" or the "bubble" where the AA activates becomes smaller or the AA magnet becomes weaker, either of the two.
.2-.25 AA is about the same accuracy as mnk for top players (top 1% of rollers vs top 1% mnk). These values have been tested in R5 after thousands of hours of data samples. For your average players, mnk is ALOT more inconsistent, so probably, roller would still be a little better than mnk in close range but not that much better. For top pros, mnk will probably be more popular again, as looting, movement and long range shooting is much better on mnk.

His prowler not moving is normal for me cuz prowler for console players doesnt really move. Havoc on the other hand can be hard for some mid to long ranges with a 2x unless you practice aiming for a while. It was just his day to pop off

do not take cat wall disadvantage you will walk in there and they are already aiming there even with bh ult you still wont tank whats on the other side

@@changen4125 Well, COL won't pay for a couch. So, they are keeping him on their team as both a player and a coach. Kimchi would happy step down as just a coach if COL were happy to pay for a coach. Having a coach nowadays is very important with all the draft POI and different rotations.

I think if you see the hours that pros spend shooting at targets in the range (with no aim assist), seeing them do it on real people isn't at all surprising.

you can feel the difference in close range roller/mnk beams even in plat and if you don't see it, while getting damaged, then you probably never played against better than average controller players on PC.
i guess u need to step into pro league match to feel that difference where u cant do anything against pro level controller ability and then compare to casual level LOL

As a DAY 1 Player (Because of Shroud at that time) and Diamond Avg and Master S7, S9, S10, S13, S15, S17-19 (Horizon, Valk, Seer, rank reloaded, Catalyst, rat Meta). Yes, he wasn't that good & people were chasing him in terms of mechanical skills (back then people weren't that good) "he said it himself in one of his streams year ago". Additionally, he was dropped off the team several times due to his lack of skills and experienced a lot of stress and burnout from not being able to compete anymore. Then, suddenly he became controller player.
