Musicians & Israeli soldiers sing & dance outside Old Jerusalem

Israeli Soldiers sing & dance at a courtyard/mall area just outside Jaffa Gate of Old Jerusalem. It was about 4pm Friday, before the Sabbath. As I was walking through the courtyard, two musicians began playing music as Israeli soldiers happened to be walking in their direction, they stop and take part in the entertainment. It was a very unexpected surprise to be caught up in. All of it was very impromptu...or, at least I think it was.

The Druze, Aramaic people, Circassians and the Jews all serve in the army by law (The druze and aramaics and circassians asked to be included to show their support in Israel) And muslims and christians who ask to serve can serve as well but they can choose.
